Name a black person in this country that has $2 billion laying around their house like Steve Ballmer did.

And if we have it like that then what case do you have for reparations?

What does reparations have to do with anything? Native Americans got reparations, families of the Chinese people that build the Cali railroads got reparations, Jews got reparations, as well as other people who got impacted by some kinda travesty.. if everyone else got perks and benefits why shouldn’t black people get some to? You don’t make any sense.. Israel gets a billion dollars a yr from America..why? If they get a check why isn’t black people getting some bread or perks

But watch a CAC get way more than that when the hornets get sold again.

The sixers are worth $4.6 billion right now.

I think a lot of us are saying these CAC owners get more money for these sports franchise compared to a black owner.

I said BILLIONS because MJ wouldn't had the money to get a sports franchise that was worth that much which is why he brought the hornets being cheaper with that team never being good.

I do want to see more black people take ownership for these sports franchise but I don't see them wanting to do it especially the ones overseas with a lot of money to burn. But we all know these CACs don't want to sell their franchise to a black man let alone pay him more money for that franchise. We've seen it time after time regardless of the year how black people have gotten the shorten end of the stick when it came time to sell anything compared to a CAC getting more money for the same thing.

I do want to see mot black people take ownership for these sports franchise but I don't see them wanting to do it especially the ones overseas with a lot of money to burn. yeah, all good points, I like that they still have opportunities when one door closes another one opens.

Just wished we could see black ownership that we can be proud of knowing that a black person was able to beat barriers to become a franchise owner which I know will never happen.

But there's plenty of money to be made outside of not being a owner.

That's why we know racism still exist in sports when it comes to a black person not having those same opportunities and privileges in the league to gain ownership of a franchise.
