Ladies, What Is The Most Romantic Thing You Have Ever Done Or Said?

*waits*

This is a hard question for me. I have done and said so many things that it's hard to pinpoint one thing in particular. Umm, let's see. The most romantic thing I said was "I'm cummming...again." That really boosts a man's ego and the smile on his face is priceless.

The most romantic thing I have ever done is agree to marry five different men. I only actually married two of them but I said yes to five of them. They were all extremely happy even if that happiness was temporary.

Done: My ex was going through a rough time with his job, cash flow and baby momma situations. His vacation was coming up and I knew he was very stressed. So with the money I was saving to go back to school I took his daughters school shopping (BM hated that when she found out, oh well), paid some of his bills for him. Filled his fridge, cleaned his apartment, and got a hotel at his favorite spot at Atlantic City (Caesars) four days for him, and I left a day early, so he could relax and gamble.

Said: "I'll let you put in my ass tonight...."

Damn,

I sure hope he appreciated you the same as you did him !

He did for a while. But you know how some people get; they take the good things they have in life for granted. To this day, that was the best relationship I ever had, despite all the negative events.

LOL @the replies in this thread and the different ideas of what romantic is.

"Romantic" means different things to different people. Romantic to my parents is my mom getting my dad a new pair of pants, because he doesn't like to go shopping on his own. Or cooking his favorite meal when he had a bad day. Romantic to my aunt and uncle is going away on vacation for a week because they could do it. Romantic to my younger sis and her husband is him taking the baby for a day so she could relax. "Romantic" is relative to the situation you're in.

The most romantic thing I've ever done was arrange a trip for me and my man at the time to go to Vegas.

We both had never been.

I got us the romantic suite with the jacuzzi tub. We had a blast going to exhibits, doing a little gambling, taking pictures etc. We had a very romantic dinner at The Top of The World restaurant.

Even though we are not together any more we still talk and reference that trip.

I'm not really romantic. :( I will usually show love by cooking a special dinner, and sometimes I will play dress up. I had this one outfit with bunny ears and a cottontail g-string from Frederick's- that was cute and I made one once it was short and tight I put these little buttons on it and everytime he pressed a button I did a different booty shake dance. I buy nice cards sometimes and leave them in places with a treat, too. Little stuff.

Good job Sinn.

Awww...how sweet.

... That's exactly what he whispered to me.

See, that's romantic to me. As long as he enjoyed and appreciated the things you did to make him feel special, it was worth it (he may not have been worth it, but that's another story ).

Girl you aint never lied.:hmm: Seems people are rarely satisfied or pehaps when when each have our different ways of showing love we miss the signs and signals. Luckily he was/is a great guy.

Cooking is very personal to me so the minute I stop cooking (provided work does not have me at loose ends) and start buying a ninja frozen dinners he knows he's on his way OUT!

 So true! Ol' boy over here is nervous cuz I haven't cooked for him in three weeks. He's been coming by with DVD's and homemade cookies, trying to coax me into cooking for him. :smh:

Co sign.

Extravagant does not equal romantic. I think its the small unexpected things that are the most romantic. A meal, massage and bath after a long day, breakfast in bed, a surprise weekend at the beach in a nice motel, etc. As long as you don't overdo it. If you give a woman a rose every day the novelty will wear off.

Don't get me wrong tho if my lady wants to spend money on a playa I ain't turning it down. I know how hard it is for women to spend money on a dude so I can appreciate that too.

Many many special dinners I cooked and fine wines. Too many meaningful gifts to mention. Special surprise getaways. All of that. Was any of it ever reciprocated in my entire life? No. :hmm:

:( It will get better, bi. Leave the bum ninjas alone. You can do better.

I applaud you for 10 fold for that...any man with the right frame of mind can see that's wifey material right there, and if not him then there's someone better on the horizin for you.

That's it! Go in your closet and get them dooknockers...we goin' out.

When I was in college, the female I was kicking it with was feeling down. It was about 1am and I told her to get a blanket and we drove to Tybee Island (savannah,ga) which was about 45 minutes away from Statesboro. We went to a private area on the beach and just set up the blanket and talked. There was no sex that night but it was cool to just sit down and laugh and talk while listening to the water. We were there until the sun came up. She rewarded me handsomely :D for the next couple of weeks...

Now that is romantic.

Thanks Femme, i've been in other relationships that I have spent more on dates and done quite a few different things trying to impress, but that night just felt right. If there was a relationship that I should have held on to, that was it. She was a best friend and much more. I was too immature to see it...

Oh well, c'est la vie

Hey that's my line!

But "it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all".

I wore a maid' outfit and was at my lover's beck and call for the day. Showered, fed, massaged (oiled, naked, full body) him, then did everything he wanted sexually:yes::yes:

Done:The most romantic thing I ever did was for my ex-boyfriend. We were both really busy with school and work so we hadn't been seeing each other as often as we wanted so I planned this night for us. I made dinner. . . He was a meat and potatoes kind of guy so I made steak, baked potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and a pie for dessert. So when he gets there. . there's music playing and no lights on all candles lit. .And I have on a short skirt, blouse with a cardigan over it and my glasses on (he was into that teacher kind of look) So this had him excited at the door. So I served him dinner and dessert. So he sits on the couch, and I had made this cd of all of his favorite songs. So I put the cd and I played his all time favorite song which is. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDEle7fAmq0&feature=related
"You" by Raheem DeVaughn. . . So I danced and stripped. . . . I still remember the shock on his face. He was so surprised.

And yea. . . .had the best sex of my life that night. . .:yes::eek::yes::eek::yes:

Said: The most romantic thing I ever said was a poem I wrote for the same guy. I wrote a poem for him. . and framed it and gave it to him. I posted the poem on the poetry thread a while back.

I had to really think about this... and ask my ex, like what do you think I did that was romantic. And he's not into all that romance and flower stuff, so he told me what was romantic to him... it was a bunch of little things like,

I know he likes my hair curly, so I wore it curly until the last possible minute, when I started getting sick from the cold.. that's when I went and straightened it.

He likes that I try new things for him and that I step outside my box..

uummm... let's see.. he said some other stuff... but that stuff was specific to him...

I had a female take me to this cliff in Austin, TX. It was the 4th of July and we watched the fireworks and talked. You could see the city and it had a river right below us. We were surrounded by million dollar homes. It was very nice. I had never been there before. I read her a few of my poems. After that we went to walk around the Capital building downtown. It was one of the best dates I've been on.
