Hmm... interesting. I've noticed a lotta brothas bringing facial hair back. Wasn't sure if this was by popular (female) demand or just coincidence. I had to grow a beard to play a role, but I'm digging the reactions I'm getting from women. I might just keep this look for a little while longer_ even after the shoot. The only downside is, along with my dreads, I suspect the beard has something to do with why cats keep asking me "Where da weed at, Ras?"

Otherwise, nice- especially a goatee and some nice latino sharp sideburns. Sexy
Right now I have a full beard. I keep it lined up nice, but it is thick, but it's a good thick, pretty soft and kinda curly like my hair. But I'm about to go back to my tried and true chinstrap and goatee combo. Or as I call it, the Delroy Lindo. My only obkection to the non-beard is that anything else requires touching up almost every 3 days because of how my hair grade is.

I've been wearing a thin Duke Ellington style mustache since I was like 14, Sometimes I let my moustache get a little thicker, but most times its thin and hugging right above the lips.
Also every now and then I may grow a goatee or go clean shaven, but I generally stick with the Duke Ellington.

Dark lips and gums are a not an uncommon feature for people of African descent. Weed smoker lips look a little more "burnt" black to me. The color is off like sunburned black skin.

I usually stay with a light mustache and goatee but when it gets colder sometimes rock a full beard. I always keep it groomed and lined up even between visits to the barber and never let it get too thick. Only thing bout beards is that sometimes they grow back too fast.
