Ladies - If You Date A Man With Dreadlocks -Your Financial Future Doesn’t Look Good

Re: Ladies - If You Date A Man With Dreadlocks -Your Financial Future Doesn’t Look Go

My girlfriend has always had natural hair. First twists then locks. She has been working at a Major Banking institution since she graduated college. She worked her way up through investment banking. She went back to school and got her masters in Psychology. She is now in HR and a VP at the same banking institution. She was recently offered SVP and director of corporate diversity. She turned it down because she is in school getting her PHD and wants out of corporate as soon as she is done. She has had locks for the last 10 years. I know it is different for women in corporate but this article seems to want to aid in the perception that you can't be successful when you wear an expression of your blackness for all to see. I had locks and cut them a year ago. I cut them because I had them for 12 years and needed the change. I work in a creative field so having locks never affected my money.
