Kyrie Irving requesting trade out of Cleveland to find bigger role

Man.. that Nets pick is probably gonna be a top 5 pick. That's a haul considering the deal season was over and you know Cleveland HAS to make a deal. Under the circumstances, the cavs did well.

That's not going to be until next year.....the year they won't have Lebron

It doesn't matter :dunno:

WTF are you talking about. You act like Boston gave up a lot.

Lebron is gone after this year

They got a draft pick

and the right to pay a 5'8 player 30+ mil

No player in this draft, Bagley, Porter or Ayton is going to be as good as Lebron....not even close...bottom line

And they didn't get better THIS year. The one that counts.

So what the fuck did Boston give up? If anything it helped them with a tough decision of letting Isaiah go.

Y'all acting like the Cavs are done making moves. Goddamn Kyrie for not asking for a trade sooner some big moves could have been made

You're another Brown Turd of basketball :smh:

Everything is about if Lebron stays you fucking moron

That's the only way they're a good team

A bag of beans could get them to the NBA finals in the east, that doesn't mean shit. They aren't better than they were last year and it doesn't put them in any better position against the Warriors.

No not everything is about Lebron.

He will go wherever the fuck he wants. Its whatever cause you cant control that.

Automatically you werent gonna be better then last year cause when great players like Kyrie ask for a trade you NEVER get equal value back. Seems like everybody got that memo except YOU.

The Cavs managed to stay in the finals AND get a pick from a shitty franchise like the Nets. Staying in the finals was likely but getting a high draft pick WAS NOT.

Bottom line for those of you who don't understand

Every trade you do at this point should be to keep Lebron after this year

If that trade doesn't help you keep Lebron...it's not a good trade. Bledsoe helps you keep Lebron. Isaiah doesn't

A 19 year old player doesn't help you keep Lebron. Lebron didn't want to play with a 19 year old Wiggins. You think at 33/34 year old with one or two more runs in him he's going to want to keep carrying a team and being a father figure and teaching dudes how to win?

Compared to the bullshit Chicago and Indiana got....yes it was a good trade

But Lebron is what makes them a championship contender....no Lebron, they're going to be right back in the Anthony Bennett years

So no, it wasn't a good trade...because it's just another step out the door for Lebron

Without Lebron no playoff run

Wow your post is so full of nonsense i dont even know where to start.

1. Duh, no player from the 2018 draft will be as good as Lebron. Thanks Nostradamus.

2. High draft picks do have alot of value. Just look at Phoenix who basically said no to Kyrie for Bledsoe and a high draft pick.

3. The Cavs dont have to keep Isiah long term either. This deal does keep in the finals for the upcoming season.

4. This topic is about the specific trade, not if Lebron stays long term.

They actually made this trade with the idea of life after Lebron, if he does leave.
I say if he was on the fence, the Kyrie throwing shit might've help the cavs but this trade probably helps even more...

Three players and a draft picks

That's cool and all

but Lebron has fucked them over with JR Smith and Thompson's bad deals

They really need to find a way to get from under their contracts to be more than a lottery team after Lebron

Shumpert has a player option after this year

So JR Smith, Shumpert and Thompson will be taking up half of their salary cap after this year :puke:

Man, nobody wants fucking Kevin Love

His stock has dropped immensely

Man you never know, they can still move those old knicks players along with Love. Like I said I'm the football guy but I wonder who the Cavs could get for that Nets pick........

Oh well now Kyrie can fuck all the white bitches he wants and have one cry rape on his bitch ass while he shoots 32% night in and night out.

WTF are you talking about. You act like Boston gave up a lot.

Considering the type of player Kyrie is, and the continuity that Boston had when they had the players they gave away, with that draft pick that they can probably sucker a team into taking via a trade, imho, the Celtics did give up too much for Kyrie.

They say Kyrie wanted a bigger role, but more than likely he just wanted to be away from LBJ. Him going to Boston doesnt give him the bigger role they claim he wanted, cause the team now belongs to Gordon Hayward.

I dont see Kyrie staying in Boston long term. This shit will end similar to PG temp stay in OKC.

First let me say this...I don't care where dude goes next summer...I'm rocking with that team...

Let's say the cavs flips that pick and a player to whatever team you thinksthat have a player that could help them get better....what then

Kay fielder, Channing & Nets pick for Melo...

I don't think they gave up too much. It's about time Boston stopped hoarding picks and tried to win now.

IMO they should have tried to get Butler, but

They have a better chance of keeping Kyrie than Isaiah. IT is a player who is isn't going to age well who is already a liability on defense. Paying him 30+ mil was going to be a mistake. And dude has been hinting around this summer he wasn't going to take any sort of discount.

Hayward is not aggressive enough as a leader bro. That will be Kyrie's team. I think Boston just gave room for Tatum and Brown to really shine as well. I fucked around and forgot Boston got Marcus Morris as well. They'll be straight. Curious to see if K Love gets moved for someone else.

The only problem I have with the Celtics is they gave up too much for Hayward. They lost a lot of depth.

And the one position of depth, is the one Hayward plays....Tatum and Brown
True, but taking Tatum was genius at 3 and Brown looks like he's ready to step up too

Three players and a draft picks

Its already been reported that they are planning for life after Lebron.

And they should be. No one knows what Lebron's gonna do.

Boston loves it's cac heros, Cavs trolled Kyrie's ass. Not only can LeBron beat his ass on his way to a rematch with the Warriors but if LeBron goes to the Lakers with Ball and Paul George he will blow the Celtics away....if Kyrie can lead them to a Finals.

And the NBA is rigged no doubt about it if he stays in Cleveland watch that Nets pick becomes the No.1 overall pick in the NBA draft

I didnt say Gordon Hayward could be a leader, I said Boston has a vision of him being their leader. All the players that you named will be nice, but the current love fest is for Gordon...imho.

As for who got traded. Crowder aint super tall, but he nice and can contribute. IT needs the ball in his hands to do what he does? So did Kyrie. IT dont play defense? Lets not act like Kyrie was a top 5 defensive PG in the NBA.

All im saying is that I dont understand how the Cavs look stupid via this trade. IT might bounce. Kyrie might bounce. LBJ might bounce. Who knows.

The draft pick holds the most weight. Like I stated before, some thirsty team will look at that draft pick and give up something valuable for it..

Bottom line...both the Cavs and Celtics still look nice. At the moment.....

Fam.... youre basically saying it is a good deal trading a top 3 PG, 25 years old JUST entering his prime, for an overrated 5-9 one dimensional player who you may only have one year? So, basically a Kyrie for a POTENTIAL top 5 pick? Cool...

Man fuck that jr better than anything they had not name Kyrie

Fuck that shit, they got to the fucks with them ninjas Lebron consigned on so they should get paid...

Until that draft pick is determine, and who knows what player is gonna be available with that pick, in terms of the actual players exchanged Cleveland took a major loss with this trade plus when they do make that pick LeBron is gonna be long gone so your stuck with an overrated 5-9 overpaid player and a bunch of supplemental pieces while the Celtics just picked up arguably a top 3 PG, 25 years old and still in his prime. The Celtics won this trade easily, especially with the young core of talent they already have.

"Major" loss... please? Kyrie to IT is not a major drop off in the most aggressive stance and they added defensive help and a top 5 pick... this is a good move for both teams... as a sixers fan, I do understand why you wouldn't value a top 5 pick though

That's not going to be until next year.....the year they won't have Lebron

It doesn't matter :dunno:

i mean.. in the grand scheme of things, no trade available was going to get them over the hump to beat GS unless the warriors have some injuries... deal season was over... they got another star that plays the same position... around the same age, plus more players to help their rotation and then a draft pick.. it's the best they could do considering every team knew they HAD to make the deal. I believe Lebron is gone regardless so they'll probably shop IT after the season and go for a full rebuild

YO!!!! Why did ESPN patch into a LIVE CLEVELAND show and actually took a caller on air? This cacs went straight to "Kyrie is a DILDO..." and they cut his ass off

Actually thats not what I said.

1. I said the trade keeps the Cavs as the favorites to go back to the finals.

2. I said im shocked that the Celtics included a high draft pick in the trade. I used Phoenix as an example of a team who refused to part ways with their high pick to get Kyrie.

3. I said there is no trade out there that could possibly get them a better player then Kyrie, so no matter what they werent gonna get better.

4. Im not dismissive of Crowder. Dude can do work coming off the bench.

5. I said Kyrie gets to live his dream, and I cant wait to see how it turns out, cause dude is magic on this court.
