Kyrie Irving requesting trade out of Cleveland to find bigger role

Damn he going at bron like that...as to say Bron said that....I'm not saying something in his camp didn't say it or whatever....dude stressed that quotes, like he heard that shit directly from Lebron. These last two nba offseason probably can go down as the best stretch ever.

So this coon drops a "supposed" quote...

from an unnamed source

SAS is MAD that Lebron said he NEVER threatened to "beat Kyrie ass"

SAS this is why you got FIRED in Philly

Lebron has a RIGHT to respond in kind

cause he DID NOT say that

but you REPORTED it as such.

And NONE of you co-workers (who were quick to name)

reported or co signed it.

That tells you something.

Sometimes you need something call wisdom decorum and class.

Look it up

Cause saying a BLACK MAN gonna kick ANOTHER Black man's ass is NOT responsible

Cause this long as speech you giving NOW?

you aint say all that BEFORE...

just like when you attacked KD and Johnathon Vilma.

Incredible.

Chauncey Billups knew Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving was unhappy, but trade request baffles him

By MARLA RIDENOUR Published: July 25, 2017

While interviewing and considering the Cavaliers’ offer to become head of basketball operations, Chauncey Billups said he did his due diligence on the team’s situation and learned much that the rest of the world doesn’t know.

During an interview Tuesday on “The Vic Lombardi Show” on Altitude Sports 950 AM in Denver, Billups said he knew four-time All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving was unhappy.

Billups withdrew his name from consideration for the Cavs job on July 3; Irving told the Cavs he wanted to be traded on July 7, according to ESPN.

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert promoted Koby Altman to general manager on Monday.
An ESPN analyst, five-time All-Star and 2004 Finals MVP, Billups does not understand why Irving would rather go elsewhere than win with LeBron James in Cleveland this season. He said the perception that Irving has another agenda besides winning could damage his reputation with potential trade partners.

Asked if he was aware of Irving’s unrest and if Friday’s Irving news surprised him, Billups sighed and said, “You know what, no, it didn’t really surprise me. Obviously I knew. As they were doing their due diligence on me, I was doing the same thing. So obviously I knew so much about the situation that the rest of the world doesn’t know.
“But that’s unfortunate, man, because he’s a special talent. In my opinion, so much of what he’s been able to accomplish on and off the floor … he’s been a beneficiary of having LeBron James. That would be alarming to me if I was a team looking to get him. If it’s all about winning, I mean, you’ve got a chance to win every single year. And not only that, you’re getting everything you want. You’re getting all the shots you want, you’re playing for a great coach who’s letting you go to work, the game’s on the line they’re coming to you, you’re playing on TV every week. To me I don’t get it, I just don’t get it.”

Billups suggested Irving may want Russell Westbrook-type stardom. The Thunder's Westbrook won the league MVP award in 2016 after Kevin Durant departed for the Golden State Warriors.
“Everybody has his own desires. He’s won a championship already. Maybe he’s saying, ‘I won a championship, I did this, I did that.’ Maybe he wants to be Russell Westbrook and go and try to win MVP and get all the shots,” Billups told Lombardi. “To me it doesn’t make sense because all I cared about was winning, not stats, not anything. That’s the only sense I can make out of it.”

He maybe a coon but Steve A was the fisrt to report Bron and Miami.......and Bron back to cleveland both times people thought he was crazy and laughed but he was right.......He just might have source close to lebron

Celtics forward asks Irving not to join Warriors

Despite the list, new Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris is worried that Irving may join the Golden State Warriors, who recently won their second NBA title in three years. “Just don’t go to Golden State,” Morris tweeted Friday. Before last season, the Warriors acquired Kevin Durant from the free-agent market, turning them into a stronger team. With Durant leading the way, the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals in five games.

The Celtics, for their part, have beefed up in the offseason by signing Gordon Hayward from the free-agent market. They also acquired Morris after trading point guard Avery Bradley to the Detroit Pistons. The Celtics are also planning to trade for New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis if his partnership with DeMarcus Cousins fails this season.

:hmm:

Yea true...

The drama between LeBron James and Kyrie Irving appears headed to an ugly breakup, and in this age of social media, a breakup isn’t official until the “unfollow” button is clicked. On Tuesday, NBA fans took notice to the fact that Kyrie Irving isn’t following LeBron James on Instagram. While it’s impossible to tell if Irving unfollowed LeBron without an earlier screenshot, it’s definitely suspect as Irving follows his other Cavaliers teammates.
But according to some here, him and LeBron are cool...
Bet that if this shit blows up, most brothers here will be on some 'fuck kyrie' bullshit, caping for LeBron, not knowing shit about what happened between them tho. LeBron stays the eternal victim to some Dudes here... :smh:

I don't really think anything happened, just seem like Unc is ready to have a team to his self like he was purposed when he signed that extension. He wants his business partner to ride the plane when they really don't suppose too...he wants the team to be centered around him(what type of players are there), he don't want to average 23, dude probably wants a mvp and scoring title...cavs should do a kyrie for Westbrook just to see what he's made of.

I was a Cavs fan when Kyrie had his own team. I still think it's more about him not liking Bron and his passive-aggressive ways. He knows Bron is only looking out for Bron and will fuck him over. Sure he talked to his dad about this.

He got a chip while hitting the game winner. Don't blame him for not putting up with Bron's or Gilbert's shit. Lebron will leave him with a team that is centered around Lebron without any picks or money. Fuck it. Beat Lebron at his own game.

Only a fool would think Kyrie wanted to leave because he wanted his on team.

He just got tired of what ever Lebron was doing. It is that simple.

Chris Bosh subliminally tried to warn Kevin Love too man.... Like I said, LeBron is an amazing player, but Dude isn't perfect like a lot of his fans want you to believe. If there is ever an issue, it's NEVER on LeBron according to some of these Dudes, but Kyrie, Bosh, Love, NONE of them have anything in common except LeBron, and all of them on the humble have had issues with HIM?!?! Man please...

Thats the difference between LeBron and Bean. Bean wanted to be friends with his teammates. He was soft. LeBron demands excellence or he's gone whoop they ass. Killer instinct. Kobe let Smush and Samaki punk him. Philly stay getting bitched, word to Trick Daddy.

Stephen A is another Jordan dickrider from NY. Them niggas is everywhere. More passionate about Jordan than Pat Ewing. Bandwagon ass clowns.

I'm under the impression Unc wasn't happy once he signed his extension(being told the team will be build around him) only for two weeks later Lebron arrives.

I'm trying to find that commercial he did mocking Lebron's comercial

One thing I know for sure.

Guys as great as Kyrie DREAM of leading their own teams since they were kids.

Its something all great players want to experience. (Except Durant).

Kobe, Harden, Westbrook... Kyrie can be as great as anyone of them.

Kyrie was about to have it until LeBron came back. Theres a bittersweet reality in playing with a bigger star then you. I dont know their personal relationship but I do know that Lebron gets his way in that relationship.

Im sure Kyrie is looking at it like he wants to blaze his own path too and he's already done everything else there is to do in this league. Whether it works or not, Kyrie is in his prime and now is the time to realize that dream.

Its time for the next challenge.

My co-worker is tight with J.R. Smith and his pops. Asked him what did J.R. say about Kyrie wanting to leave. Told me J.R. Said the world will never truly know how much Bron and Irving can't stand one another. To the point he said one time on the team plane Bron was talking to Thompson about Kyrie shooting too much and Irving must have heard him and yelled, "yo don't ever in ya life try to son me nigga you got a fuckin problem with me talk to me about that shit. Fuck outta here." J.R. Said they argued a couple times afterwards. Bron said he wanted to fuck him up. Smith said it's either gonna be Bron or Kyrie but somebody's leaving eventually. They hate each other so much on the low he said you can't fix dat shit. Man I had no clue it was that bad. I think Stephen A. said something about them not getting along but apparently it's worse that anyone thought. That plane ride outburst is funny as fuck too I can see him doin dat shit.

Lillard rips reporter over Irving comparison
Andrew Joseph

ESPN writer Tom Haberstroh wrote a story on Tuesday to break down the Kyrie Irving situation. One NBA star wasn't a fan of the article.

While Haberstroh was making reasonable points about Irving's less-than-stellar track record as "the guy" in Cleveland, he threw Damian Lillard's name in there as a comparison.

He wrote:

As a player, (Isaiah) Thomas and Damian Lillard are probably the best comps for Irving, who has struggled to win as the guy. In the 17 games that James has sat the past three seasons with Irving starting, the Cavs' record is a woeful 4-13 (.235).

When Haberstroh tweeted out a link to the story, he again made the comparison to Lillard as if it was a bad thing.

That tweet seemed to get Lillard's attention as he called out the reporter on Wednesday.

Lillard has made the playoffs in every season after his rookie year. And sure, he hasn't led Portland to an NBA Finals run as "the guy," but in today's NBA, there aren't one-star teams making championship runs. The Warriors have two MVPs and two other All-Stars. The Cavaliers have LeBron James, Kevin Love and Irving. A dominant individual season from Russell Westbrook, for example, didn't turn into playoff success.

Though it likely wasn't the author's intent, it's easy to see why Lillard was upset. The comparison seemed unflattering and wasn't explained until the end of the article.

Damn... Dude had Dame all in his feelings and shit! :roflmao3:

Man kyrie ain't even talk calls from the front office...this dude is really trippin!!

Therein lies at least one huge difference between now and 2010: James is still helping to recruit players to Cleveland. He was instrumental in swaying Derrick Rose and Jeff Green in recent weeks. He was unreachable during the summer of 2010, something Irving is now. The Cavs have unsuccessfully tried to contact Irving, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told The Athletic, but he is not talking to anyone from the organization.
