A lot of people in the D feel this way. Detroit cats aren't anti LA, we are anti Boston. If we can't beat Boston, we historically roll with LA since they usual have the next best shot...

most lethal weapon the game has ever seen... why big men havent used it since, I'll never know. If you are a 7 footer, there is no defending that shot. Bynum would be an absolute beast if he added this to his game.

They don't use it because it does not look cool, like shooting a free throw under handed. But you are right you can't block it and plus it is a high percentage shot.

that's the thing i've never been a true piston fan. my parents graduated from mich state the same year magic left college again he's from my hometown and I even went to the same high school as magic so i'm really a true lakers fan. i rep the pistons when their having a winning season until they play L.A.or something.
His 6 rings look pretty cool... which brings to me a question: why isnt Kareem considered the GOAT? His 6 Rings >>>>> than Jordan's based on the competition alone and his list of achievements rivals anyones... if he was nice to the media his name would always come up in that discussion.

However, I think a case can be made for a small group of players as the GOAT and Kareem is definitely one of them... I also think he is the best center in the history of the league... better than Wilt and Russell in my opinion...
Eewwill I'm with you on that but I did root for the Lakers cuz I absolutely HATE boston!!!! The only players I've ever respected that played for them is McHale(the only celtic to comgradulate any Piston after they beat them in 88,plus he was nice in the post) Ray(just because Ray's a class act) and now Rondo(dude is a baller)!
