I don't see the problem with this. The Knicks don't need Camby and Kidd to give major minutes on a night in night out basis. Gives good depth in middle when Tyson is on the bench.. I like the move

Good move from a defensive standpoint...The Knicks ain't going to please every mother fucker out there.

Kidd and Camby are solid vets who will be backups. They've both played in the NY market before, they get it - they will be good Knicks.
Its all about Shump and Lin - if they are the second coming of Charlie Ward and Herbert Humphries we're fucked.
But if they can be something respectable, we're on to something for at least the next 2 seasons.

I am Knick fan but this does nothing to help us get through the heat. At least I felt like the Ewing teams had a chance to get through the bulls every year. We need to get Amare out of there and find a way to get Dwight.
This is a good move for the Knicks. Kidd was a starter and is willing to back up Lin. Nash is better yes but the big difference between Kidd and "I don't care if I ever get a ring" Nash..... KIDD HAS A RING which give him instant respect and cred amongst the Knicks. Camby part of Mobb Deep with give them great D and rebounding when Chandler sits down. So I think it's a good deal.
Dwight Howard is NOT a good fit for the Knicks... Especially when they already have Tyson Chandler... If anything, Tyson would have to be moved before Amar'e in that scenario.... Say what you want about Amar'e BUT... He can actually open up the lane better than Dwight because Amar'e can hit a 17 ft jump shot...Whereas, if you put Tyson and Dwight on the floor together, they'll CLOG UP THE LANE WORSE THAN THE CROSS BRONX EXPRESSWAY DURING RUSH HOUR...

I can see your point but Amare is simply not healthy. I also don't think that his priority is basketball anymore. I guess some of the things that he does rubs me the wrong way. It seems like he likes to be in front of the Camera. Can you picture Oakley or Mason sitting court side at a bulls game after they got eliminated by them. Hell new!!!
