Kitty's has 10 Nice things to say about New York Men...

arrogant as in a sexy confidence...a cool cockiness.

Harlem how was your day?! Me? Mines was cool... I'm thinking about masterbating later on. I am still kinda attracted to my ex so freaking a dude on some bootycall type shit is not an option right now lolll *sigh* sucks being me right now I know lolll

You only see what you want, and just because you feel like most of us are like that doesn't mean we are.Cars, jewelry, cash dont impress me in the least. It might be good to some females but not to me. Whether you choose to believe it or not is on you. I still try to talk to you nicely, yet you continue to call me and other females names. I don't judge you on what the other guys on this board do and I expect the same. You don't know enough about me to form any conclusion on how I am or what I do. The same goes for how I feel about you. I don't front about anything on here, I would rather you or anyone else tell me the truth, then to sugarcoat it.

Why did you even bother? When you're doing his taxes at the end of the year, make sure the IRS comes-a-knockin' :dunno:

"YOU BIG FAGGOT"

Not from nor have I lived in NY but I have dated NY chicks, and please dont take this personal, but a lot of them are dumb as rocks and easily impressed.

once again, no offense.

Ok, this post is for the folks who think I only got negative shit to say about the NY menon the boards. This is me just showing some love. loll@ none of the NY women I know would help me with this list.

1. Their accents and slang
I swear I cum on myself every time I hear "Yo, ma or Yo, mami" Actually anything after the word "Yo" from a NY man gets me going lolll

2. They know how to carry themselves as gentlemen.
Despite what everyone thinks all gentlemen don't reside in the south...
Coming here I have experienced men opening car doors for me, pulling my chair out, buying flowers...

3. They are so fucking arrogant...
...and don't even realize it. You bound to cuss one out then have a huge fight then have some angry arrogant make up sex later lollll

4. New York has some of the best looking men in the US...
Yes, this is purely my opinion and I stand by it so that makes it fact!
I'm sorry...even the ugly ones look aiight. I've traveled throughout the US and I am not saying cute men don't reside in other places or that they don't have ugly dudes who live here... but the ugly dudes usually stay hidden here... NY got everyone beat.

5. Their Aggressive/ Alpha male spirit...
Even the shy ones are aggressive. Hell *shrugs* even the ones that ain't about shit talk a good game.

6. The Summertime...
Whew.... for those that don't know... you better come here and visit to find out. Cause when them NY dudes come out dem layers.... yes yes... I know that happens everywhere but not like here.

7. Is it me or do everyone got a huslte going in this bitch??!!!
I swear.... no, 4real everyone I have talked to got some form of a hustle going on. (except for William... his hustle seems to be continually calling my ass after I told him to stop smmfh) They make it do what it do. I think hustlin originated in NY.

8. They so fucking passionate about everything...
I mean they could be talking about scrambling eggs with an apron on... and they explain it to you with intensity. It makes you wanna be apart of the egg making process. They make you question everything you know about scrambling eggs loll.

9. This my be debatable but I find the men here to be well read unlike any other place I've been too. It's not just a self righteous book smarts like they think they better then you for knowing some shit (I found a lot of that in the DC/Maryland area).... New York men seem to be more then happy to share their knowledge. I've never seen so many men in one place read books. Not shitting on my Cali dudes... but if 30% of men read books in Cali on the regular... I find 75% to do it here.

10. The men to chick ratio is like 5 to 1
The fact that I moved here in October and met my boyfriend (now ex boyfriend) a week after I moved here say loads. For those of you who don't live here... the mayor issues you a freak as soon as you move in, lolll. Even though we not together anymore for circumstances beyond our control... I still got nothing but love for NY men...

I'm sure there will be hate posted in this thread but *shrugs* bring it lolll

Thank you, kindly. ;)

once again, no offense.

Being from NY, I have to cosign this statement.

Most live for status, even on this very board. That's why it's so easy to fuck them.

Now, obviously this is not an all inclusive statement.

Now, I will also say that though I never emboddied most of the traits of your average East NY ninja, the person I am in because of my NY swag. Sounds very cliche i know, but it's true and readily apparent every time I meet a chick in the South.

Well I couldnt tell you about NY women since I am not one. So trust me when no offense was taken. Hince the "Cali chick in Brooklyn" on my tagline.

But since you assumed I was... I'm not sure what you mean by living for status... please explain... cause I swear my last NY boyfriend was unemployed fulltime student. *shrugs* he had something special about him... *thinking* i'm still trying to figure out what it is lolllll naw 4real he was a decent individual.

Damn Desire that is so five years ago. The only people who still talk like that are the New Yorkers who have migrated south and lost touch of what is going on in the city, and the fake ones who may have visited the city once or twice before.

its nice to know doggish is speaks on behalf of all authentic New Yorkers.

In regards to the "Yo Ma" example...QQ@ the title of this thread "Kitty has 10 nice things to say..." if yall dont like NY men *shrugs* kick rocks.

It's funny how I have received more negative comments in the "positive" thread then I did when I was clowining/deducting points from NY men.

if you feel you got 10 positive things to say about the men in your own state then by all means make a thread. sheesh already...

I know you asked Shadow to respond, but I think what he was referring to was the materialism of many New York women... I mean, New York City being the fashion capitol of the country, even considered the fashion capitol of the world, by some, it is driven by a thinking of many women that rocking the hottest 'ish and sporting the newest trends are your ticket. Ticket to what? Ticket to whatever you may be interested in. I don't know if this really relates to "status," but that's just a generational thing you see with African Americans - we like to "look good," but not have our light bill paid. Some women would rather worry about our outward appearance sometimes, than what really matters and builds long term wealth. This "status" is only materially-based, and can be to the detriment of the African American - and any other race - woman.
