Kimbo's career is over.
Samrock cancelled and Kimbo decided to fight anyone and without preparation, the fighter replacing shamrock and kimbo DID not have training to learn each others moves , style etc... No excuse but I am just saying .....
anyway, I wish kimbo good luck. He needs to redeem himself quick. I hope he save his paper on the low though. .
Kinda wish he would've had a few fights fixed so he can gain some more wins under his belt keep building a name and his sport/league up stacking more paper for the brotha. oh well. .............

I saw someone say it was the kick that took Kimbo out. But, from what I saw:
1. Kimbo didn't keep his guard up
2. dude just raised his leg to keep Kimbo back.
He landed a punch on Kimbo's temple and finished him off with a hammerfist once he hit the floor. Plain and simple he didn't fight Kimbo's fight. Kimbo is a beast if the opponent wants to stand up and trade punches. But take him out of his element and Kimbo's weaknesses are exposed. The last dude he fought exposed that his ground game was weak.
I'll agree that he still has alot of career and fights left.
That's one thing I like about MMA the fights are tough so you can see someone 21-6 and him not be considered a wash like in boxing. However the truth is the hype, the myth, the legend is DEAD.
Also why do people keep using this he "took a fight last moment" shit as an excuse for the dude?? Wasn't that his bread and butter in the streets??

Kimbo has very poor balance, he lunges forward with his punches to the point that he is off balanced. In the fight he saw the foot and even managed to block it, but with is upper body so far ahead of his lower body, he was pushed to the grown with very little effort by his opponent.
As bad as the loss my look, I feel that this problem can be easily corrected, however doing so may expose another flaw waiting in the wings.

He's not in the streets, he's in a professional organization. These are trained artists with vastly different styles. Like Kimbo said, he's a professional now, and he expects the organization to be such as well. Hell, GSP got dropped by Serra and GSP is the 3rd P4P best fighter in the world.

Bottom line is that if you look at both fights GSP vs. Serra and Slice vs. Seth, the favored fighter was guilty of one thing, one major thing... sleeping on the man across from you because you bought into the hype.
Like someone else said already when you fight someone who has nothing to loose, you can't take them lightly.

The hate for Kimbo is almost just as bad as the Hype. Only thing I saw Kimbo was doing was trying to be too aggressive. He didn't give it time to feel the guy out, and try to stand up. Dude was throwing hi s leg up like a hoe and caught kimbo with his head up clean. The punch stunned him as he lost his balance, then he was on the ground getting hit for about 8 seconds before the ref stepped in (he actually stepped in early, just didn't call the fight). He took elbows on the mat longer last fight...
IMO, no he's not as good on the ground as some cats, but he can still out punch and out power most of guys. MMA artists are good at their craft, but people give some of these guys too much credit in fighting. Some of these motherfuckers were ordinary Joes who didn't do shit until this. Kimbo has one loss, big deal IMO. Depends on how hard he wants to bounce back is the thing for me. Fuck, Lesnar tapped in his first 4 fights and I still think he'll be nice
Thing is GSP has 20 fights and prepared for Serra, Kimbo has 3 fights and prepared for a submission fighter. I'm not excusing Kimbo, but I know bullshit when I see it and this all smells funky. EliteXC has no fights I like anyway, except for Diaz, so they can go under all they want.

Like heavyweight chump...champ,Waldemir Klitschko...who has a weak chin,but we have seen him knocked down from punches to the chin,forehead,top of the head...even back of the head.
