CINCINNATI (AP) — A Cincinnati man has been found guilty of murder in the 2006 shooting the friend of Grammy Award-winning rapper T.I.

Hosea Thomas was found guilty Wednesday of murdering T.I.'s entourage member, 26-year-old Philant Johnson. The 34-year-old Thomas was also convicted of felonious assault and illegally having a gun after a felony conviction.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, testified last week in Thomas' trial. The rapper told jurors that he believes the bullets fired at his entourage during the gun battle two years ago in Cincinnati were meant for him. He wasn't injured.

The rapper was in Cincinnati on May 3, 2006, to perform.

Thomas faces up to life in prison at his Dec. 23 sentencing.

Nah, Bruh, This was all about some dumb ass negro who got mad cause he couldn't get into the VIP at the Ritz Nightclub which is a raggedy assed shack of a club that used to be a K-Mart. The parking lot looks like the surface of the moon and it's where all the young niggas and old inadequate niggas in town hang out at. Nigga was tryin to make a name for hisself.

well the only name that killin tip friend gon make 4 him is "fleece johnson's new piece".
 
Of course niggas gon say he a snitch but his testimony (which was recorded on video) didnt give enough info on anybody to convict, so snitching did him in, but it was the snitch between hi and his brother.
 
Tip is a snitch I do believe but not on this. He had nothing to do with the crime that was perpetrated against him so there is no "snitching" to be done.

I do believe what 50 said about Tip though when he said his lawyer may have got him 10 to 15 and Tip walk out with 1 AND a year to continue his career without much hiccup. It just don't look right in my opinion.

But he is not a snitch for this. :smh:
