KG did not leave his team, in his prime, to form a Super team, just because he was unable to win with the team that drafted him. Lebron, had to join with other all star in other to win his first rings, after failure.

Jordan fought through his team struggles, got Pippen (Only All star he ever played with as a Bull), stayed put, added some role players or ex-All Stars, and won 6 Finals MVP's in 11 full seasons. Would have been 8 straight, if he had not retired.
