come on now that's not being genuine. he ain't in the east playing a team that can't possibly win. he's playing a team that went to the conference finals last year. it's 1-1 it was a helluva shot he's the #2 player in the nba there's no need to try to apply new rules to him because of perceived rules added to you know who. no new rules it was an amazing shot the shot is celebrated. don't say demand he win like he's chris paul, he's actually been to the nba finals before and led a team and performed well in those finals though the result wasn't near what he wanted.

I came in this thread to say I wasnt impressed by the shot... because it was pure luck and no skill. Doesnt change the fact that Durant is the best shooter/scorer in the league. But that one shot was luck IMHO.

In all honesty the shot was spectacular, a very difficult and very good one , to boot. However, in my opinion the shot loses its greatness, due to OKC inability to seal the deal in overtime. Put it this was Ray Allen shot wouldn't be nearly as great if the Spurs was able to pull out that game in overtime.

ray allen shot is only big because of what it did. it was a 3 pointer not this type of shot it's not in the same league as far as pure amazement on a shot goes.

ray's shot had far more impact and would have had far more impact even if the thunder won.

Not making new rules, just saying as MVP he should be expected to win, and 6 years in having been to the mountaintop before I don't think thats asking too much.
