3k to over 5k a month rent? Nah, no thank you bro! But, if you got it like that then obviously go for it.
I'm presently living in ne Nairobi for the equivalent of $450 USD a month in a safe place, near the mall ... one bedroom, 1 bath furnished Airbnb and there are many available even cheaper, but I'm required for now to stay close to where my Kenyan GF is going to school at First American Health Institute. You can find places where you'd likely be comfortable as low as $300 a month on Airbnb and $250 if you're renting longer term
