You good fam! I think its really the beat and the feel of the song that makes it hard for me to get into the lyrics.

My homie was telling me this isnt the original song. He had another joint from way back with john legend. Same lyrics, different beat, and a better hook.

Anybody know where i can find that joint?
 
I love this Joint I wanted to see more of the south side or west side in the video!!! But yeah the original was way more soulful and John Legend was blowing on it!!

Could have shown some Harold's or the Polish Sausage Stands or Garrett's Popcorn or Harpo Studios or Cabrini or more of the downtown architecture. I love the Chi shits my second home.

i always said thats the only song on the album i DIDNT like cuz the original was SO hard. when i heard this 1 i couldnt get into it either cuz of the beat. it sounds like his flow is off on this 1. like it dont match up w/the track. but i heard he couldnt get the sample cleared. :angry: fuck whoever wouldnt clear it! :angry:

the original joint was already released years ago...you can tell by his that is what when he had his mouth wired...with the production he made for graduation i dont think with would've fit on that album...sometimes you have to listen to the music instead of expecting him to do something obvious

SO DAMN TRUE!!!! I WAS HOPING IT BE LIKE THE "THROUGH THE WIRE" VIDEO TO A CERTAIN DEGREE AND HIM SHOWING PICS WITH HIS MOM AND SHIT... BUT MAYBE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN TO PAINFUL....
