maybe b/c he can win more championships at Kansas, but he sure as hell isn't going to be able to take Oklahoma State to the top
he made the right decision. Kansas will renegotiate his deal and he'll be paid well. money isn't everything dude...

He can win rings at OSU too. Kansa has the tradtion but OSU has a billionaire alumni that has a goal of OSU being a top athletic school. So any facility or piece of equipment Self can think of he'll get. Recruiting wont be a issue he'll get any player he wants. One phone call and that player and his famly will be rewarded nicely to sign with OSU. He'd be back in the final 4 in less than 2 seasons.

Think Jerry Jones type (One of OSU billionaire's best friends) The amount of pressure he would be under to win now would be crazy..! And people like that have a quick trigger finger when it comes to firing people..!!

Actually OSU BB is the main thing there. They consider themselves an elite BB program(I dont think they are). They did have one of the greatest football players (Barry Sanders). I think Boone is trying to make football #1 there but if you go there you will see Basketball gets most attention by fans and media b/c I think they believe that's their best chance to get a Championship.

Yea but that was with a bunch of transfers from other schools (The Graham brothers from Central Florida, John Lucas from Baylor). Big time recruits don't come to Oklahoma State. The biggest player they have landed was an overrated Byron Eaton who was only ranked so high b/c it was a weak PG class comin outta high school. He will continue to win at Kansas, but Oklahoma State would take years to make elite

Im gone help yall out. Self options are to stay in Kansas and rebuild cause thats what hes gone have to do there.His stars were trying to leave last year so you know they wont stay now.And he can ride out a bad season or two snce he won it all this year. and he can do this for 2.5 million a year. Thats all Kansas can pay. Or he can go back home where all his family is and rebuild OSU and get paid 10 mill next year and 4 mill a yr after that. This is a no brainer.

Look at Memphis.ust a couple years ago who what player you know chooses Memphis over any of these schools.Recruitin is all about summer league teams. At OSU all self would have to do is get that billionaire to help out a few summer teams and he'll have 3 McDonald players every year
