Judges - yes, but that's basically because the GOP screwed Obama and people just happened to die. Taxcuts only went to the rich. The ones regular folk got have already expired. Trump didn't understand how Tariffs worked, and only managed to increase prices and run some folks out of business. When did we become energy independent? There isn't a wide spread student loan forgiveness that is going to occur, but there are policies in the works that are looking at improving the whole student loan crisis. The 60 minutes piece really shed a light on how the system is flawed on so many ways esp. the PSLF program.



The Dept. of Education Secretary, Secretary Miguel Cardona, who is a former teacher himself has been working alot to fix these issues something we never had in that other chick.

The biggest problem is that we're used to populists running our government. Biden and Harris are the opposite.

There used to be a time when a voter might say "yes, I'm a republican, but President Clinton is doing a good job." That all changed when Barack Obama took office. Now it's at the point where anybody with a D beside their name is vilified by at least half the country.

Elections are about popularity, but actually governing is about getting things done that makes your people's life better. Doing this often requires you to risk pissing off your public. Especially for the problems we're facing right now.

Keep in mind that when Biden and Harris got elected we were at the ass end of a century defining pandemic, global warming went from a distant concept to do a daily reality, we're facing the consequences of our broken immigration system, the start of the new labor movement, and the Civil Rights movement is raging with a passion not seen since the 1960s.

There is no way that any administration could deal with all of this at once. If they tried they would have accomplished nothing. Therefore it seems as if certain issues are getting ignored so the people affected by these issues are going to give a bad review.

They have been targeting one thing at a time ever since Biden got into office.

The first step was to ease the pandemic. Once that was accomplished he pulled out of afghanistan. With that complete he's been trying to overhaul the country's infrastructure.

In the middle of this we unfortunately had a major refugee crisis. The Biden administration responded poorly in part because they were too preoccupied with their other goals to create a sensible immigration policy.

As much as I would love to drag Harris and the rest of the administration for this it was inevitable no matter who was in power.

1. Continue as this country always has with politics leaning either to the left or to the right. That's all any of us know in our lifetimes.
