“What went through my mind was like 'Wow, is this real or is it a joke?' How would you feel if someone taped a police officer’s uniform down?" Perry asked.

Saturday, he took to social media posting this status:

"This is.what is taped to.the front entrance of kroosroads bars in va.beach,va located in pleasant valley shopping center on lynhaven parkway!!!now, would.we be wrong to.take a police officer uniform.to an.entrance of an.establishment? This young man is exercising his constitutional right and is being vilianize for.it!!! Didnt hit his wife,didnt rape nobody,didnt get caught abusing.drugs,or.get charged and cleared for.murdering two people!!!oh, and did not.shoot.any unarmed citizens!!!but yet his jersey is.used.as a foot mat!!! Racism.is real people and.yes this is a racist act...an overall disgusting one!!! Boycott this racist a** bar!"



Perry’s post was shared more than 3,000 times in 24 hours.

He's asking people to boycott the bar.

But some customers are standing by the Krossroads.

“I was not offended by that," Carol Bevilacqua said. "I think we live in a free country. I think people are allowed to do what they want.”

The general manager of the bar told News 3 taping the jersey down was about sportsmanship and Kaepernick's disrespect of the flag - not race.

Whatever the reason, Perry says the bar has now lost a longtime customer.

You make it seem like Kap was the one that set all of this up. Kap wants to play but why announce a workout when you're not organized.

The NFL should have negotiated with Kap on stuff like video crew,recievers and etc yet the NFL randomly announced a workout on the day teams are doing last minute prep for the game..

Hell,Kap and his team didn't know about the workout until the league announced it...
