There is a lot of that version that could have definitely worked. Especially the stuff with Steppenwolf's character and the whole scene that featured dialogue with Zeus and the Lanterns.

I loved the movie, and after reading what was taken out I'm very disappointed.

Maybe if I was oblivious to the tv and cartoon interpretation I would feel different but I'm not a fan of the goofy awkward Barry Allen.

The problem was that they used Barry Allen but gave him the personality of Wally West when he was a kid and first got his powers.

I know that is apart of the Hollywood thought process. However, Peter Jackson, James Cameron, Christopher Nolan have all made billions off of movies were much longer than 2 hours. This movie would have fallen into that category as well, if they would have given it a chance.

Finally watching it. First observation....the writing is complete shit.

It's not a good movie. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not good.

Just watched it. Meh. Was better than Batman v Superman, but wasn't better than Wonder Woman. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Flash was annoying.

The editing was horrible and the way the movie was filmed just seemed off.

It's like i know that most of it was done on a green screen stage, but it shouldn't look like it...

I think he was tracking one of those scouts and the the thief just happened to be in the area

This movie was almost unwatchable. I didn't even finish it. From the scared Flash to the sappy shit when they brought Superman back and the poorly written story Just an awful movie.

The setup was stupid. Have him track the scout or apprehend the thief. Both together was an awkward set piece and poorly executed.

DC is in trouble. Within the new DC universe, ALL of their movies have either been awful(Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad) or mixed reviews(Justice League, Man of Steel, Wonder Woman). I can't understand why they did Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. They would have been better off making a film based off of DC animated first meeting between Batman and Superman(Worlds Finest). Which is a cartoon and 20 years old AND better than Batman v Superman.... Also, the first 3 episodes of Justice League Animated was a better story than Justice League the live action movie. And without a major villain....
