People are tired of the genre.
but marvel is a guaranteed $700 mill ...And at times a guaranteed billion.... thats on DC. people really dont be that excited for a DC joint. The last time i seen people excited for a DC junt was the dark knight rises and that was because people was still on that dark knight high.
I personally feel that black panther will do 2 billion.... the day a marvel film under-performs... that may be the day that the fatigue will set in
If we talking about it isn't that all that matters?

It's the start of the holiday week. Numbers are always low around this time of year with people more focused on traveling and things other than film-going.
"JUSTICE LEAGUE" wasn't a perfect film. But it was highly entertaining. And there was a ton of applause at the end at the Dolby Cinema show I was at Friday night. Rarely saw that at any of these types of films. I may go see it again in REAL IMAX today (tix were sold out).
It amazes me how many people out there want this film to fail.

I walked into the theater on Court Street and saw a gang of pre-teens going to the same floor as me and I assumed they were going to see Justice League but no they all walked into Wonder and when I went into JL, no kids at all. A couple of weeks earlier This Ragnorak was filled with those same age kids and adults.
Kids are into Marvel, not so much the DC movies, this doesn't bode well for the DCEU .

but that doesn't mean you go to the opposite extreme
And be not as good on top of that
You can be DARK and good.
Winter Solider and Civil War and Logan amd Legion and the gifted and Arrow are dark...
Even WW look at no man's land.

They need to reboot. It's not really about being dark more about being good. Snyder was trying to put his spin on something that was a proven cash cow. The blue print for these movies are there, You don't need a old ass Batman but again we don't need to see his origin story.
The Dark Knight was "Dark" but you could picture Super Man in that universe.

Not surprised at all! This is what happens when a studio tries to change what they are and create something half-way through that's not them. Worst, WB/DC really has no identity on their CBM properties.
They started off gritty and realistic. This is what would happen if these characters were real and placed in our world. Then critics and some fans cried...no it's too real and people died and i can't take my snot nose kid to see it...blah blah blah.
Then they did the worst possible thing and listened to those people and completely swing for the opposite spectrum creating something unrecognizable.

Hard? Not at all. If you followed any of my posts then you would know I thought lightened up the tone and trying to go in this direction was a huge mistake. You can't switch it up that drastically and expect anything good to come out of it. Especially, if this is supposed to be a trilogy and the last of the series.
Man of Steel and to a lesser extend BvS I can get behind. I can't do it with this one. Too many changes and no clear vision. They fucked up big time with this.

IMO DC needs to get some new writers and planners. DC continues to underachieve against Marvel. This was really poorly planned and could've easily been corrected.
You can't start a Justice League series without Superman. This movie should've had all of the major DC original characters.
