And did they try to ret-con Supes in it? No. I don't know if you remember the uproar when they first killed Supes in the comics but folks was buggin'. They still haven't learned their lesson. Man, they were using Superman as a password in the world war and shit. Supes is an ICON. You can't just change all that history in a movie or two.

They just don't get it. It doesn't have shit to do with the casting. Get these fucking scripts right. Hell, just re-make the cartoon movies into live action since those scripts are superior.
With such legendary characters, I don't know how they fucked up that series.
I'm not a comic head, but after seeing Supe vs Batman just a couple months ago, the dude playing Lex Luther was a complete flake. Seems like they were just concentrating on making him as annoying as possible
it a shame that the DC exec's are so stupid and greedy that they killed the DC universe. They bragged, early on, that they were not going to be like marvel. No individual movies to truly set up Justice League, no end credit scenes, no principle person to oversee the whole movie universe no nothing forward thinking. Everything that brought us this sorry slate of movies was designed to get that "Avengers Money" without EARNING IT.
I, personally, am a Man of Steel fan. I love the Krypton back story, I liked even how Pa Kent, to save his son from the cruealty and scrutiny of humans, told him he may have done a bad thing by saving hi classmates on the bus. The conflicted superman that was presented was not an issue for me and is my 2nd favorite DC movie behind Noland's Dark Knight. So when they did not make a Man of Steel 2 in place of B vs S I knew DC was going the f*ck it up.
The ONLY saving moment in Justice League for me was when Superman went ham and b eat the sh*t out of everyone and clocked flash running in real time. The audience that was at the theater I was at erupted in cheers and "it's about time" at that scene. People were aware of what DC was not doing with Superman's powers and abilities at that moment. Everything else was garbage. And since you already killed Superman there are no high steaks for him anymore. The only reason you would have to totally reboot him is because you would have to de-power him. It IS NOT Henry's fault that they wrote the character as horribly as they have. All this could have been avoided if there were people at Warner that wanted to make great movies and build on the most recognizable characters on the planet instead of trying to set up huge money gabs.
Because they are trying to hard to compete with Marvel and in doing so rush the stories and end up fucking it up.. Wonder Woman was the only one they got right. The only Batman i want to see is Christian bale.
And,that's where Warner Bros. always fuck up at.They continue to interfere during the writing stage.I understand most studios does this,but if you're hiring someone to write a story and you continue to interfere over and over again.Then you want to get mad when critics and fans are trashing your movie.How about letting the writer and director do their job,so you can make money.
Ben Affleck is like fuck Warner Bros,because they kept trying to rush him on the Batman script . He kept telling them the script isn't done yet they kept being on that bullshit.
I'm a say this...dude they got as Superman is good. He's really good. MOS was good. BVS was shit but there's a whole lot of reasons that have nothing to do with the actor. Ben is good as Batman too. JLA is not terrible like BVS but it's kinda underwhelming when you consider they have their biggest flagship characters in one movie.
Zack can direct but don't turn over the universe to this mufucka. As a matter of fact how about building a universe? They just looking at numbers thinking they can throw anything out there and it'll work because it's Superman and Batman.
With this lineup I would've started with a Cyborg movie with cameos. We got a supervillian for president and neo nazis are marching and killing people in the streets while getting rich off bitcoin. They got buddy walkin around wearing a hoodie and shit. There's so much you can do with that character. Iron Man x 1000 in the body of young angry black kid. The actor they got playing him killed that role too in JLA.
DC has thousands of characters just like Marvel. Use em. Build the universe. If you start "dark" then where do you go from there? 2 movies in they killed Superman.

Actually the score in Man of steel and BvS were great. The music sucked in JL, Wheaton should have kept Junkie XL.
The problem with this is that.... the only movie that really showed them as a couple was BVS and all of their good parts were fucking cut from the theatrical version. I bet it’s the same with Justice League.. it’s just hard to judge some one when their scenes are pasted together with duct tape.
Personally I was anti Cavil as Supes until I saw the directors cut of BVS and saw him actually playing Clark Kent the Reporter. Why in the hell would you cut that out. I don’t get it.

Dude playing cyborg was good and I thought Mamoa was good. Casting isn’t the issue.
Warner brothers is the issue...
You can’t judge a persons performance when like half of there scenes were cut. We are talking about 40 to 50 minutes of a film gone. Mamoa, Flash, and Cyborg had entire stories cut.

The scene in BvS where Bruce talks to Clark for the first time and Luthor shows up is the most depressing thing to me. You finally have Bruce, Clark, and Lex Luthor on the screen for the first time and it looks like this...

Like I said,a couple of days ago,when you continuously interfere the writing and production process,of course,the movie is going to be shitty.Somehow,Warner Bros want to blame others for their fuck ups.
And,then you have a Warner Bros executive not wanting to push the date back,so he can get a bonus when he leaves or fired..
Warner Bros is even more of a hot mess than anyone expected.
