True. I have almost every spike lee movie on blu ray, but also have every Tarantino film as well...I just enjoy great film and everyone has been hitting me up telling me they loving this film :cool:
 
Just Got Back from Seeing Django Unchained...

and Tarantino is a racist motherfucker, but it's still a damn good movie. :yes:


The theater was like 95% CAC.. Them motherfuckers LOVED the first hour. They roared with laughter when lines like "Wait?.. Is that a ****** on a Horse?.." were uttered.. But that last hour or so when CAC heads started to roll, namely DiCaprio's character, you could hear a pin drop in that motherfucker!!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:


E-Militants are going to hate maybe the first 1-2 Acts of this film, but the 3rd Act when Jamie goes at it alone, this shit basically turned into Nat Turner's revolt!



DiCaprio was good as usual (Although I'll be PISSED if he wins an Oscar for this, if you see the film you'll know why.. that fucking "Ben" story.. :angry: ), but, Christoph Waltz stole the show.. Jamie was ok, and Sam is a damn fool, yo.. :lol:



Great film, and I'd give it a solid 4/5...



EDIT: To clarify since I've been asked through PM.. The "Tarantino is racist.." comment, and the the "Ben" story refers to this long, drawn out Soliloquy that DiCaprio's character goes on near the end of the movie about how the ****** brain is only equipped to be subservient and submissive, and isn't built for intelligence like White people.. :smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:


I defended Tarantino's use of the word ****** in the film, but that was a step to far for me. Luckily the good outweighed the bad in the end tho..

I defended the shit out of his use of ****** in the film, but something about that "Ben" story that DiCaprio told rubbed me the wrong way, and you'll see what I mean when you watch the flick. That's the basis of my "Tarantino is a racist" remark.. That was kind of a half serious, tongue in cheek remark, but that scene kind of left me wondering if that's how he really feels.. :smh:

I know what scene you are talking about from the script...trust me, as a historian, I can tell you that the Ben story was a major part of southern culture in the 19th century...seriously, it was embedded in the environment....
