Just saw a man drown his baby - When should you intervene?

I was standing there as they pulled the baby from the water. Watched as they attemtpted cpr....and eventually stopped and covered the baby. I was there.

The last thing you want to do is to overrun yourself with "what ifs."
It's not your fault. It's not much you could have really done. There were other people out their that knew him and the family. All you did was witness a tragedy. It's ok to grieve for the child. Nobody would blame you. Humans are a fuck up species at times. Many of us live our lives never having to witness such tragedies. When we do, we have to take them with a certain type of understanding that will help us cope with whatever emotion it brings out.

It's ok that you grieve for the child. You and your lady should take that moment and develop an understanding for what happened. Please do not blame yourselves and think there is something that you could have done differently. Hindsight is always 20/20, but reality at a moment is many times unpredictable. Take care of yourself fam.

That's crazy. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. Don't beat yourself fam. From your perspective I wouldn't have thought it was that serious either.

RIP to babyboy

damn sounds like dude just lost his mind.. almost like he was possesed or something.

these types of tragedies happen all the time tho, parents just flipping...

there are cases of parents putting their children in ovens...

one lady not to long ago, chopped up one of her children and had him in the fridge..

later she blamed it on the fact that he was sexually assaulting his sister...

but there are too many of these situations to even count..

some folks just crack when pressure becomes too much to bear...

on a spiritual level I understand what it is...

but its just some sad shit to see them tiny little coffins at a funeral...
