Pancreatic Cancer is a very hard cancer to beat, for the simple fact, most of the signs that finally show up, means it is further along than doctors care to try to help you beat this thing. I only found out recently so much about it, due to my fight with Colon Cancer. While going through treatment for Colon Cancer, Doctors(Gastro & Oncologist)were baffled and worried I was showing signs of a 2nd cancer in my body, so of course went through a lot of scopes, dyes, scans, etc, and finally it was offical, that I wasn't fighting another even deadlier cancer, which was Pancreatic Cancer(same day Swayze died was the day I was told they would start running the scans for it). I'm just finishing my 2 fight with cancer and hopefully my last. Although, it is a relief that it is getting finished with, I still have a battle for the rest of my life.
Anyway, Pancreatic Cancer is high risk for us Black American men. Problem is as Black Americans in general, just never was big on seeing the doctors regularly for various reasons, we have to change this pattern. Only way to beat any type of cancer is through prevention and early detection.
