Dudes aren't hating on you - its obvious you are starting out and they are just pulling your coat to shit that many learned by trial and error, or paid $$ to learn.

matt357 is giving you good critique, your site needs a cleaner look and flow... I don't agree with him on upgrading from the 60d. Use any camera body you can afford, but you should invest in better lenses or just rent them. You could get a editor for post work, but I think the real issues are how you're shooting. (ie. Sally Field - 1/125 is too slow a shutter speed, with that much light and with your subject moving through some of the poses.)
There are a lot of tutorials out there (I think some have been posted on our photography board, bump any dead links and I'll see if I can find or re-up)

trying to do the same thing, got all my gear, need to intern for a few, I take great pics already, bought a flash and a 50mm on black Friday, was taking close ups of my coins with and without the flash, it was either too dark or over exposed or the camera keep beeping and hesitating without clicking the shot, wtf am I doing wrong with close ups? need help on this one

thanks for feed back . first www.wpmgdetroit.com is not my website for my work it is being put together right now. it is called www.wpmgstudio.com will be up in a month. Second the salad was on a green screen because I have a client that owns a soul food restaurant that I am going to make a small commercial to market it. Third yes I do rent out my studio for projects. Plus I shoot at all the hot events is the metro area and make a lot of money doing it on the weekend nights check it out www.picturemeclubbing.com
