I'm in the DC area now its all types of juneteenth shit going on but in Detroit its like all we do is hang around...its new to us..
Plus we just did memorial day so alot of us are like I ain't barbecuing again.....

Alot of us have this mentality. I'd be surprised if Juneteenth is still even a thing in 10 years

They bullied their way into it, with aid from us. We barely ever do anything for ourselves.
We're always compromising and trying to be inclusive. That's why it's a day and not a month.

It'll be a month when we collectively make it a month.

Yea as a collective we dont like taking what ours...

We like to handed shit like a gift.. and if we move as one,

we can easily take whats ours... but we been mind fucked to think

WOKE is a bad word, and all it means is to be aware...

so we as a collective do the opposite of woke and stay asleep in these streets...

and wondering why we are STILL WAITING for REPARATIONS..... we have everything

including the labor and brain power to create our own towns, cities and grow from there...

but to be honest tho.... in the begining wed have to live like the Amish, and most,

sisters bros and hoes aint tryin to live like the Amish....bruh....

Juneteenth was a success in Atlanta. I really enjoyed yesterday.

Went out to the park on Juneteenth. Hella black folks out, in peace, no trippin'. Kids bouncing in the bouncy house, riding rides, etc. Lots of small black businesses slanging their wares. They had some performers and a nice-sized stage. Of course, there were speeches and speakers explaining the importance and history of the day. I kinda wish every day was like that. Shit was beautiful.


Oh, and hella asses out in shorts, because the heaux never take a holiday from attention.
