Agreed, but come on fam! I just watched the beginning again to see if I missed something, she took issue with her calling 2pm and then all she said was (in response to "Did you stop for the ambulance?") "Initially, I did but then I pulled out.." and then she hit her with the "I'm already getting what kind of person I'm dealing with"
Obviously the show is edited and I'm not saying the chick wasn't in the wrong, just saying she didn't appear to have much of a shot
Judge Judy...as well as the other Judges on these type shows reviews the cases as well as the statements before they come out of chambers...some like Judge Milian (Peoples Court) even watch how the Plaintiffs and Defendants act before hand as they enter the courtroom on monitors....Judy saw the ridiculousness in her statement..."the hammer slipped and hit the windshield while she was making a point"....yeeeeeeah....no doubt the point on top of her head!

Did we all watch the same video? She was being short with the sista from jump, granted the chick clearly isn't too bright and seems to have an attitude problem, but Judge Judy seemed like she had her mind made up from jump
Don't start with that shit. You know why JJ said she immediately showed herself because she kept trying to add information that was unnecessary. Who cares what time rush hour is in LA or that she waited to pull out until after the ambulance passed, that's a sign she rehearsed what she was going to say. She even kept giving JJ a look like she was stupid.
She's one of those women where she does not want to take responsibility for her actions. You are supposed to forgive her for bashing in his windshield because his actions put her in a moment of rage. If he didn't fuck up nothing would have happened! Even at the very end she was still in her own reality, but now she's going to spin it so that she was railroaded and JJ was out to get her.
She got jumped on immediately because she immediately showed herself to be a narcissistic bitch.
She does that to everyone.
She's been doing this show for 18 years and a judge for who knows how long before that. She knows everyone on that stage has rehearsed their story a hundred times, and think they know everything she's going to ask them. That's not what she wants. She wants people off of their guard.
Notice how even though she shook the guy he just ignored it and answered the question asked without trying to add extras or explain his train of thought? He didn't even let on that he was annoyed. That's the complete opposite of the woman. When you feel the need to explain everything it's a sign that what you are saying is bullshit.
JUDGE JUDY speaks to people like the LAW would. While many laws are inherently racist, in this case Judge Judy is searching for a reason that legitimizes the woman smashing the windshield.
If the woman didnt feel scared for her life, there's almost no reason for her to do what she did. As she admits she threw a soda, and smashed the window, guilty.
If you ever talk to cops, be straight fwd. They push you to see if you act guilty, if you consistently act calm and collected your odds of walking away are increased 10 fold.
Speak w disrespect and inconsistencies, they will treat you like the red-handed fool you are.

She learned a lot of bad behavior from her mom..who btw didn't/couldnt say a thing.
No she didn't. I couldn't disagree more. This woman bullies her mom. What I'm willing to bet is that her mom is super nice to the point that she can't even say no to this person. You become what you practice and that shittyness is exactly what has developed.
I'm willing to bet that her and her mom aren't anything dissimilar to my sister and my mom. I am extensively frustrated with how often my sister would seek to argue, judge you, vilify you when your back is turned, take without asking, snoop on you, and act like she did you a favor without ever returning any favors done for her. My mother complies with everything including giving her the bulk of a car accident settlement because she wanted to use it to go live on her own which we knew wasn't going to pan out.
Her mom was silent because she knew her daughter was going to contrive falsehoods during her defense and didn't want to say anything to ruin it out of fear of her daughter, not Judge Judy.
Been watch Judge Judy for a very long time. What I have learned about her over the years is:
Shut the fuck up while she is or anyone else (plaintiff or defendant) is talking.
Get straight to the point of your case.
This chick failed at both on top of giving a sassy attitude. Think you can play the game the way you see for? No, you have to adjust to the rules.

I can't stand Judge Judy but she read that chick from the time she entered the courtroom, and the girl eventually showed her true colors.
Half the time I don't even know she does it. Just this morning I was making leftover breakfast and before I could get out of the kitchen she says "can I put this in the dishwasher"? as if to imply that I'm careless or don't clean up or whatever the fuck she was trying to say. I walked on by and it didn't occur to me till after I ate.
