Josh McDaniels given the heave ho!

i wonder if they told him to take Tebow with him

I was just thinking the same thing but I hope Tebow does well because we don't have anyone else. I'm not sold on Orton for the future.

Should've given him 1 more year to right the ship. Stupid move by Bowlen; now he'll be paying 3 coaches. Really dumb!

Paying 3 coaches is going to hurt those pockets for sure but as far as him "righting the ship". I highly doubt he could've done it. I mean you have to wonder what went down inside that organization. Did the players want to continue playing for him? Why did Nolan and some of the other players WANT to be gone so bad? What made Josh so unlikeable? That dude couldn't even command respect from others around the league.

probably but singletary was nowhere near as bad as mcdaniels was

singletary helped rebuild a squad and its solid he just can't coach it now that he has it

mcdaniels inherited a top qb a top wr and a good emerging rb
all he had to do was fix the defense but instead he dismantled the whole team and set them back like 5 years

The one thing I dont understand is why would a rookie head coach is talking trash to a division rival before the game...The too me is fuckin stupid

Him getting caught cheated I think pushed him out the door. Why would he get rid of all that dam talent? I mean B Marsh and the QB ? C'mon Son

#2 offense in the league at the time and still growing and maturing with each other. That shit is like becoming head coach of the Thunder and wanting Durant and Westbrook gone. Stupid.:smh:

No this was the worst coach in the NFL!

Not even close. He is leap years better than McDaniels. The cowboys didnt miss a step when that guy was canned and they will contend next year. McDaniels set Denver back ATLEAST 3years.

Yes they had the number 2 offense in yardage, but was 16th in scoring; never forget that.

How about upgrading the defense. Josh was too worried about working his own offense and having his own personnel to run that offense that he obviously didn't have the common sense to actually try to fix what was broken which was the defense. That's why I stopped fucking with him before the beginning of his rookie season. I will say this, I loved his energy which was apparent during his 6-0 start but other than that he fucked up everything else.:smh:

Regardless, the offensive side of the ball was never the problem before he got there... Now they arent even scoring period... So as a Bear fan... You really are drinking the koolaid that Orton is everybit as good as Cutler hungh???... Even with better WRs, the "great offensive mind and QB guru" The Broncos arent even scoring, yet "backfoot" is scoring with Hester, Knox, Bennett and a shitty Oline??? Something does not compute.

or better yet the Bears defense is giving backfoot more chances to score. That sir does compute.

if shotty gets the dolphin job or the vikes job i have no problem with this dude becoming the jets o-coordinator.... but chances r we'll hire someone else who will be just as good.

That's because the Broncos we're flying up and down the field between the 20's, but with no threat of a run game (7 different RB's who got injured consisting of rookies, castoffs....... and all were trash except Hillis who got hurt) you're going to have a hard time being effective in the red zone.

Even Peyton Manning needs a competent running game to make that high flying attack sht work.
You dont want Cutler back there slinging the ball 30-40 times with the way he plays (Gunslinger style) when the defense KNOWS you HAVE going to pass every down because you have no running gmae.
That sht workd in the first half of the 2008 season when the Broncos offense was putting up like 40 points a game.
Then teams got wise stopped respecting the run and forced Cutler to pass in heavy coverage.

I mean, how hard was it too just ADD to Marshall, Royal, Stokley, Hillis, Cutler, Scheffler , and build the defense up.

Inexcusable. Even if you think this offense is better now, he took two years to "build" it, getting the same production from the previous offense..........AND THE DEFNSE IS STILL TRASH.

All i know was the Cutler/Marshall offense was good enough to win 8 games by itself with no help from the defense whatsoever.
, can you say the same for Orton and company?

Guy was an egotistical a$$hole. Set the Franchise back Years, and there's no disputing that.

Bowlen has made 3 horrible decisions...... Firing Shanahan, Hiring McDaniels (Raheem Morris, Rex Ryan, Todd Halley all in playoff contenion), and trading Cutler. Denver Bronco fan are loyal as fuck and Bowlen knew the Denver people would support that shit!!!!

Sellout streaks through the end of the 2008 regular season:

1. Washington Redskins ... 327
2. Pittsburgh Steelers ... 307
3. Denver Broncos ... 301
4. San Franciso 49ers ... 267
5. New York Giants ... 264
6. Green Bay Packers ... 261*
7. New York Jets ... 257
8. Chicago Bears ... 198
9. Dallas Cowboys ... 161
10. New England Patriots ... 159
11. Kansas City Chiefs ... 149
12. Baltimore Ravens ... 104
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ... 88
14. Indianapolis Colts ... 81
15. Philadelphia Eagles ... 80
15. Tennessee Titans ... 80

I dont ever think I have seen a coach ruin a team in such a short amount of time

We called the shit when he came in thinking he was Bill Belichick :smh:

This shit was planned. Bill Belicheat sent homie over here to sabotage the squad just because he has had trouble winning a couple meaningless regular season games against the Broncos. He couldn't win another Superbowl so he decided to go after the small fish in the pond.

Watch, McDaniels will be back in NE. Mission accomplished.:hmm:

Hey

I had to find some way to rationalize how a coach can do what he did and be that horrible.:dunno:
