Agreed, this generation is just looking for things to get upset about.

Blackface should never be condoned, especially in today's society.

However, this was 40+ years ago and a completely different world, looking back at this with 2024 eyes and sensibilities isn't really fair. Just looking at the TV shows alone that aired in the mid-late 70s and the content that was produced, none of that shit would fly today.
