JON JONES Tests Positive for Steroids after UFC 214 STRIPPED OF TITLE

This shit don't sound right: he passed both the blood and piss tests, then started taking an old school ass roid exactly at the time before the fight when he would need to have cycled off had he been taking it? This dude is either mentally retarded or he got setup.

i done some reaserch and seen ufc new people talking about it.in most people it dont show up because it burns out your system fast.but they said by that being illegal he had to get it from the black market and it was a bad batch cause it showed up still.ill find that video and post it.its on youtube it was joe rogan's podcast show .it was him and brandon talking about it

Anything is possible but that is highly unlikely and still raises a lot of doubt...

A bad batch...??? Lol that shit would do more damage then just show up dirty in a urine analysis

I'm sure his lawyers and advisors are making sure he lays low they don't need him making matters worse I know he must be pissed

At his camp tho....

And I know they don't want him to say

Anything out of anger...

But my question is

Is it possible for someone to put

That in his food or drink without him

Knowing?

the answer to that is no .check this out usada came to jon jones camp where he was training to collect a sample and someone from his camp said he hid under the ring till they left.the funny thing was they stayed till it closed and cut the lights off then he came out from under the ring once everyone left.so if he wasnt doping why would he hid for that long. ill see if i can find that video lol its also on the joe rogan podcast

Well in this day an age damn near all athletes do shit to get an edge...

Even in non contact shit like baseball...

Anyway truth is gonna come out

If he is guilty it's a damn shame because he was about to reign supreme

In regards to the 205lb division ...

- We're still awaiting further news / updates on Jones

- Will Cormier have the 205lb title reinstated / returned?

- Cormier himself will be 39yo next March and doesn't have much time left as an active competitor

- Cormier has lost twice to Jones

- Gustaffson has been wanting a rematch with Jones for years

- Gustaffson has lost to the top guys in the division though. Jones, Johnson, Cormier

- Johnson has stepped away from the sport though (fully retired or will he return?)

- Johnson has already lost twice to Cormier though

- Weidman has mentioned possibly moving up to 205lbs (from 185) at some point

UFC has been taking some Ls lately.

- Rousey is gone

- Silva will be gone soon

- How long will GSP be back for?

- How many years does McGregor have left?

- How long will Jones be gone for?

- Nate Diaz is waiting on that $$$ to present itself for the McG trilogy

- Bisping winning the 185lb title in June 2016 fucked up that division

- Aldo apparently wants to move on to boxing once his contract wraps up

- Golden children Northcutt and Paige Van Zant are only so-so fighters

When the face of your organization realizes he can get paid more to go somewhere else you have a problem. They should push Cyborg more. At least she's a known fighter.

Agreed. Not a good look too when White, Rogan and others within the company have openly made fun of Cyborg on record too. As for star-building ... good to hear the media types and MMA podcasts often note that the organization on the whole needs to do a better job building up the names of the up & coming talent. They've done reasonably well building Yair Rodriguez and Paige Van Zant, but they need to definitely push others too and not just focus on established talent(s) of the past.

Good point you made about $ outside the organization too. Especially when we see how massive a spectacle it became in late-August ... after people had said May-Mac "would never happen" over the course of the past year. Everyone expected a 5-year delay or so like the May-Pac contractual issues. Fortunately that wasn't the case for all the paid participants and they were able to $core big.

Why are people still holding out hope that this is all just a big mistake?

Joe Rogan is out here asking "what do you think really happened?"

Ill tell you what happened. Jones takes PEDs and he's been caught twice now. Its that simple.

McGregor has/had them by the balls. Remember when Conor boumced tl Iceland because of a contract dispute? He wasn't going to come back unless he got some things he wanted. Too much money on the table. This is why I said Conor should take Floyd on as a mentor.

As for Cyborg, the irony is that as much as Dana and the UFC shit on her she is one of their biggest stars by default. Everyone Dana has gotten behind has fallen by the wayside for one reason or another.

If I'm Conor I bang through those remaining fights as fast as I can and hit the free agent market ro test worth. The CEOs of Bellator or Strikeforce would sell their kids for a chance to sign him, not to mention he could get 1 - 2 boxing matches in to make up whatever income he lost on UFC.

Agreed. Floyd and Conor are excellent businessmen in their respective sports. They know what they're worth. They shook up both worlds over the years. Especially now with Conor knowing that he's their major draw by far.

If I were Conor ... in no particular order I would get the following fights, and then get out ...

- Trilogy fight with Diaz

- 2nd boxing bout (Malignaggi)

- Potential superfight with GSP at 170lbs or a catchweight of a few lbs heavier (don't go all the way up to 185lbs like GSP is doing presently)

The fights with Tony Ferguson, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tyron Woodley, and Kevin Lee just don't draw high enough $-wise or interest-wise.

That's what I was thinking. I posted a video where it was "leaked" that Conor would fight Paulie in Ireland. Paulie said he wants to fight on St. Patrick's Day because it's on a Saturday next year. So do the Diaz trilogy in December, the fight with Paulie in March, title defense in August (if he's still champ) and the GSP fight in December.

In that schedule the only one that has to happen is the fight with Paulie on St. Patrick's Day, the others can whenever. But he has a big enough name where he doesn't need the title. He can do the special attraction fights.

Yes - that's a good format and spacing between fights. March / summertime / winter. Good to see the Barclay Center discussion coming up too. Angelo Reyes has been pushing that potential March date as well ... he's friends with Paulie & is always high-energy and upbeat with his Cagesiders co-hosting gig, and guesting on other shows like Phonebooth Fighting (Richard Hunter and Frank Mir), MMAJunkie radio (Gorgeous George & Goze), and more.

Lol @ dudes scrambling for possible foul play sabotaging Jones. How many irresponsible decisions does he have to make in order for you to realize he is his own worst enemy?

Add his name to the list of great athletes who will be known for their bad personal decisions more than their incredible talent. Lance Armstrong and Co.

Kevin Lee is coming.

Justin Gaetje crazy ass is comin

Mighty mouse still poppin

Valentina Shevchenko

Cody Garbrandt

Now admittedly , if this Conor /Diaz fight pops off, theres nothing that will be as big as Conor more than likely. He's kind of a rare find.

But he's given the sport a lift I think it can take. The bump hes given the whole game, I think will be utilized to the fullest.

Sheeyit, there's no way Conor can expect to come out of that fight with Diaz ready to fight again in 3 months. Mark my words he will be knocked out in that fight.

Big fan of Kevin Lee too. Still young in the game (mid-20s) and has many years to get even better. Gaethje is a wildman. Always exciting in there and knows he's eventually gonna lose/get knocked out given his style, but doesn't give a flying fuck. Those 2 fights with Luis Palomino in WSOF were intense. Mighty Mouse is a living legend. Amazing talent. Valentina is the real deal. Looking forward to her rematch with Nunes next weekend. Plus ... it would be nice to see her match up with Joanna J' at some point. Joanna moving up to 125 (from 115), and her moving down from 135 to 125 ... something like that, if they could work it out. Given Valentina has past wins over Joanna outside of MMA (believe it was muay thai or kickboxing, right?). Cody Garbrandt is the real deal. Good to see the current streak he is on ... and damn ... that win over Cruz last December was ridiculous. Who in the fuck styles on the champ like that for 25 minutes? He was having fun in there. Crazy.

Got lots of respect for Conor and Money May for showing other fighters in both sports that they need to be more about their money/business. More on top of things. Both combat sports are quite dangerous long-term, so go and get yours. Don't settle. Make sure you're making moves.

Ex' - just thought of something. Say Conor returns with the immediate trilogy with Diaz in late-2017 or early-2018. Diaz pulls off the big win and is up 2-1 in the trilogy. Does Conor say fuck it and go for ANOTHER fight with him? Trying to even things up at 2-2 and then move on to other fighters, or retire? Or does he say fuck it (at 2-2) and fight him for a 5th time ... knowing full well each time they fight it draws considerably more than other opponents?

The first 2 fights at 170 ... the 3rd and 4th fights at 155? Don't know if they'd make the 5th fight.

Just something to think about.

In this day and age anything is possible lol.

I don't mind Nate getting that money, but Conor won't beat him again.

Actually, nah I don't see that happening because Conor is kinda exposed if ya ask me.

He ain't never gonna have no cardio and I think the others see just how much of his game is really all that mental shit. They used to all fall for it and still try to test his left. Now they will all just about it til he gasses, then whoop his ass. This combined with the lack of passoon he will have with all that money? I see Nate doing that, Tony doing that, Khabib doing that, and Kevin Lee doing that.

I really don't see any more victories in the ufc for dude. He should lose to Nate , then go the Ronda route. Take the money and run.

Holy shit how did I forget to me too my baby Joanna?

The fight with her and Rose coming up is gonna be major. I see her winning in brutal fashion BUT, Rose does have an X factor that could prove wrong. Her training with Valentina could bring something new to her game that could maybe finally get JJ to the ground. From there, she can finish my girl.
