John Fetterman

A) Fetterman on his support for the Laken Riley Act and whether that interferes with due process for illegal immigrants: Technically, they're already breaking the law..If you are here and you are breaking the law, well, then that's the ultimate red flag that it's like they absolutely got to go. And if you think that would make sense to an average voter

Connor Lamb was not good… obviously I would take him over Fetterman now but I don’t think there was a rational case for Lamb over Fetterman at the time of the election.
Sheiit. Connor was a true moderate at least that is what it seemed to me. He didnt have as much name recognition in the Philadelphia region and being moderate is why he lost but he was easily the better choice.

It's not as if Fetterman and Lamb are the only options in the world. Fetterman lied about who he was but that doesn't mean Lamb should have been the choice by default. If the people wanted a progressive, someone else progressive could be in that position instead of Fetterman.

I don't know Pennsylvania super well but Malcolm Kenyatta, a black progressive, ran in that race too and he was probably the best option.

Malcolm Kenyatta is gay. He aint winning in Pennsylvania.

Man yall are going to have to understand. This progressive social agenda is not gonna win in the Midwest.

Folks have to wake up. In 2028 the democratic pres nominee better be a vanilla white man moderate or we aint winning the Midwest.

 I forgot that but I saw it when I googled to confirm that he ran in that same election. Not at all surprised that those are the first words in response on BGOL.

1. You think Pennsylvania is midwest? Mid-west of Earth maybe, not the US.

2. In the 2022 race, Fetterman ran as a progressive and Lamb ran as a moderate. So a progressive obviously can win in Pennsylvania, which is what we are discussing here.

It's a basic, albeit unfortunate, reality that bigotry amlnd fear of their own suppressed homosexuality pushed much of the capturable electorate against Dems.
