Deadline reports that a prequel series starring and executive produced by John Boyega himself is in the works. He’ll be stepping into some big shoes, to say the least, as he takes on the role of Eli.

I think Denzel is mentoring the young Black male actors on owning your work. I know Micheal B. Jordan has been mentored by him.

If I were a rising Black male star I would actively seek him out for career and life advice.
