Joe Biden is now POTUS

Of fucking course

Save the country it hasn't been 24 hours before

  • We need to work with Trump people who want to kill us
  • We need to be warned to not go too left or we'll lose the people who didn't vote for us anyway
  • Black people showed up but actually everyone else are the real heroes
  • Defund the police slogan is political suicide and NOT allowing the murder of black people by police
  • Republicans saying we need to get rid of the electoral college now that it didn't benefit them
  • Let's put black people back in the back of the party
  • Let's focus on the working class cause black people don't work apparently.
I can go on but I'm about to eat dinner.

She needs to shut the fuck up

Isn't it crazy how she can't give people credit
Yeah black women in Georgia... NO BITCH IN AMERICA

But latinas!
Oh what about Afro-Latinas?

See what I mean when I was saying "African Identified"

cause she inserted herself into the people of color title and subheaded every person of color with african descent into "Yea they cute but didn't do shit"

:smh:

"latinas" didn't vote against Trump at a higher rate than Black men or women in a single fucking state.

But for "Latinas and Latinos" he would have won Texas and Florida

How do you take a victory lap for losing?

I was one of those in the 90s that used to vote for a Republican once in a blue moon that was not too crazy but all of that stop in the 2000s. The 2000 presidential election cause me never to vote for a Republican again. And also as I got older I got more liberal.
I really don't know how anyone who isn't sitting on 10 20 30 plus millions and who isnt a greedy white male can vote republican.....

Anderson Cooper ‘Regrets’ Comparing Trump to an ‘Obese Turtle On His Back, Flailing’

After it aired on CNN Thursday evening, Anderson Cooper’s description of Donald Trump as a “an obese turtle on his back, flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over” inspired a backlash from people who rightfully pointed out that, considering the President is currently attempting to overturn the outcome of a national election, jokes about Trump’s weight both miss the point (who’s ever seen an obese turtle?) and needlessly insult those of us who are fat but not currently working to sabotage democracy. This weekend, the CNN anchor said he now “regrets” blurting out the extremely specific insult on live TV.
While being interviewed by Cooper on Saturday, one-time presidential hopeful Andrew Yang called back to the joke when discussing the last few days of post-election madness. “I’m happy to say, it seems like Trump is going to be, in your words, an obese turtle on his back, just flailing around, Anderson,” said Yang. Before moving on, Cooper attempted to walk back his comment. “By the way, I should say, I regret using those words, because that’s not the person I really want to be,” he said, according to Deadline. “It was in the heat of the moment, and I regret it.”

"The Democrats cannot take Latinos for granted. I think Biden missed a grand opportunity to have been able to carry both Florida and Texas," he said. "If he had just invested in the Latino community more, if he had delivered the correct message. The numbers that we've seen out of Miami-Dade is he got 250,000 less Latino votes than Hillary Clinton got."

"It went from Hillary to Trump. Why? Because the issues of law and order are impacting Latinos quite a bit," Garcia said. "For example, a lot of the border patrol, law enforcement are heavily Latino in the Rio Grande Valley. So when you are talking about defunding the police, and you don't stand up to those types of rhetoric, then it leaves an opening for Republicans to come in and take advantage of that."

:smh: :smh: :smh:

Let them get the "tangibles" they want from the republicans they voted for. I am not trying to hear shit about a Latino platform when they damn near cost us the election. Absolutely zero political capital should be used on immigration reform or DACA. Save that capital for healthcare and student loan relief since those things disproportionately impact Us. Also not trying to hear from the rainbow crowd. 28% voted for trump so they can hold their own feather boas...

Alec Baldwin Held Up a ‘You’re Welcome’ Sign on SNL and It Was Good Prop Comedy

In The Hero With a Thousand Faces, comparative-mythology scholar Joseph Campbell argues that certain common archetypes recur in myths and religions across cultures and eras. Many have a Golden Rule, most have a flood myth, and all have a belief that when you die and go to hell, the first thing you see is Alec Baldwin holding a sign that says “YOU’RE WELCOME!!!” It’s exactly what he did at the very end of last night’s Saturday Night Live, which aired after Baldwin’s, uh, comedic muse Donald Trump lost the presidential election to Joe Biden. As host Dave Chappelle threw out his “thank you’s” and “goodnight’s,” and Maya Rudolph held up a sign wishing her daughter Lucy a happy birthday, Baldwin flashed a sign that said, “YOU’RE WELCOME!!!” as if to say “oh no, no need to thank me. I’m well aware that my Trump schtick was satire of such a high order that I may have singlehandedly brought down the president.”

The act of offering up an unprompted “you’re welcome” is such a blatantly recognizable act of pride, hubris, and misplaced false modesty that Disney wrote a whole song about it, because even children get the joke. If the “Hallelujah” piano opened this dark chapter of SNL in the Trump era, hopefully this was the coda.
