Damn near 2/3 of the unhoused folks in Philadelphia are black. I can't drive on Germantown Avenue and not see young, black children on the streets instead of school. It is heartbreaking.

If you drive 1 minute from the Tobago airport you're going to see folks that the country has intentionally forgotten. If you go to Scarborough, at our old store, you see folks that the government has forgotten. However sad that is, the reality is there are more men as you drive into the little towns. Joblessness in Riseland, Bethel, all the way to Whim, and that's just on my side. There's joblessness on the Leeward side too. Its a testament to the upbringing of those young men and women that those folks didn't end up like the black folks in Trinidad.

That's the problem. You have people who believe one day they'll be a millionaire/billionaire. So they're ok with tax policies and so forth favoring the rich. You have business owners who favor tax policies for the rich believing they will benefit. Meanwhile companies/individuals classified as small businesses are multi millionaire/billionaire businesses receiving most of the benefits. Because that who the policies are really set up for.
It's designed this way.
