I don't even believe writing credits would necessarily even disclose the truth and that's assuming the ghost writer is credited to begin with.
Him writing for other artists pop songs or not shows he's capable of writing for himself. People talk as if Drake is like Bow Wow or other artists who had writers for the majority or all of their work. Maybe that is true, but we'd never know the truth. It's not likely anyone would out him again and technically Q. Miller didn't out him. Clearly, the reference track didn't help Drake in terms of the ghost writer claim.
I recall more than a few people believing Gillie at the time. Wayne's change/growth could have just been him maturing as an artist but he's cadence did seem to be closer to Gillie and his style on tha Carters is different from that block is hot. Cadence alone doesn't mean Gillie wrote for Wayne but it's suspect. If an artist style seemingly changes depending to who they are around, that artists writing completely for themselves becomes questionable.
