Didn't care for the VIDEO tho.. nor the SONG.. I'm a HUGE Jill Scott FAN too... i can't even front.. but this aint grab me... and I wanted to like it BADLY.
 
Jill's looking good with the weight loss, but the song is garbage, just like the "Hating On Me" crap she put out. JMO.

I had the same reaction when I read that comment. I was like "word?"

man she's gotten further and further away from that "who is jill scott?" type of sound. I can't fuck with this happy, formulaic type shit...shit is just like golden...a "Female Anthem" type record...the type of record that would be playing at the end of a movie after a bitch leaves her cheating husband, burns up his shit, gets a new haircut and drives of in her convertible..

not really feeling this track...The track she has with Anthony Hamilton is better but still not all that great either...

The Album cover looks amazing tho..didn't know she lost all that weight

Oh and those saying that she gives off that "bitter fat black woman" vibe is news to me. I've always thought the opposite...the main reason behind her attractiveness-- in my eyes has been the vibe that she's given off in interviews and her energy... she just seemed like a extremely cool sista..with a beautiful smile..but i'm basing that off of her appearances when she just came out in the early 2000's she could've changed significantly since then.

yea this song sucks ass. But black soul artists always try to go outside of their lane and have a danceable track as their first single off a new album. And it usually winds up sounding like ass. Musiq, Mary J, Alicia Keys, Jill etc always do that bullshit. Stick to your lane, midtempo to slow songs please. Hate on me was a first single as well.
 
She's borderline for me.

If her personality matched her smile and her appeal from the 1st album, then yeah, no question. But the bitch don't like interaccial, but steady wanting to sing about love an shyt. Love knows no color.

She's of the Tyler Perry crew, so she gets no real love from me. She's lost the original Jill Scott flair. And I hate that she remade a classic and although she didn't make it sound that much worse, it could have been so much better.
