Sanchez had shoulder and neck injuries but kept playing. The kid wasn't playing like himself and that explains it. He was injured and kept playing. Jets need to make McElroy the backup so if Sanchez gets hurt he can take the time to heal.

Yeah it looks like they may demote him, however by not bashing him it improves his chances of being hired somewhere else.

They should really look into getting Manning...if hes even close to healthy it makes for IMO a real possiblity of getting to the promise land. So what if it cost your #1 and #2 draft picks?
Sanchez was injured as tanny and Rex just said. Shoulder and neck injuries. He told no one and tried to toughit out and fucked up. He won't replaced they said he will be the starting qb next yr but they will add more talent for him and will get on the same page as a team. The team had no threats on offense at all. If they add Michael Floyd that's big time talent at wr, give McKnight more burn that's a threat at rb. And if they make schotty call good games not the clusterfuck he calls, Sanchez can take them to the promise land.
One bad season doesn't erase his body of work. He will get more consistent Rex has already said it things will be done differently. U don't just throw away qbs with winning records who r three years in the league because of one bad season. Using that logic every qb who has one bad season should be cut and that list includes a lot of sb winning qbs. That's espn logic and everyone knows espn is bullshit and overly dramatic.
Jets need a big play wr then need to overhaul the defense and add more team speed.

Dude his record is better than a lot of the so called better qbs in the league. His playoff record is better than most of the more celebrated qbs in the league even his playoff stats r better. One clusterfuck season is not reason to dump a qb who has the ability to win games for u and risks his health like Sanchez did this past season. He had only 16 college starts. He will improve.
Your vision so narrow; Bro, that defense has been able to mask alot of the offenses AKA sanchez deficiencies. With the defense starting to fall off(stat-wise) it means the O is going to have to pick it up. Personally, i think the guy is too inconsistent and honestly a bit reckless!
Dog, Sean Ellis was calling the jetsplays before they ran them this season during the pats games. He hasn't been part of the team since last season. Yet he knew when and where plays would run. How is that on Sanchez? The o line screwed up this year and the defense got older and slower yeah Sanchez can be reckless he's trying to make plays he did it the first two years and we won a lot this season with no deep threat and a predictable offense it didn't work.
No qb has done well under schotty even favre threw his playbook out. Sanchez has had the most success of any qb with schotty that tells me with a better system and oc Sanchez will get better. Sanchez has been the jets qb for three years and has too deep post seaon visits nd one even season shitty before Sanchez? One deep playoff season.
It's easy to do the espn skip bayless thing and toss the qb when it's the coach that's the issue. Schotty holds the jets back

Whaddup man. I've been here off and on, but I decided to try to enjoy football this year by not playing fantasy football and to stay off BGOL during games. I just wanted to enjoy the games and not get caught up in extraneous shit.

The Jets are a deeply flawed team. Schotty sucks. Sanchez is mediocre at best. The OL needs a new RT and LG. The DL can't rush the passer. The safeties suck in pass coverage. LDT should be third on the depth chart. Greene should be second. They need a new #1 RB. Need to upgrade the LBs with some speed. Folk sucks. Could use an upgrade on WRs. They need a real backup QB to push Sanchez.
Fuck it. 8-8. Not bad. Not good.
