JETS Fans (here we go again)

That was a tough ass game but it was expected.I'm glad they pulled it off in the end. Now,it's Chicago and the Bills. The Chicago game will go about the same as yesterday but i think we can get the win.But the offense is going to have to find the end-zone and control the clock to give the D some time to rest.

Peace.

Beat the Colts now the REAL test comes up.If we can beat the Pats at home we can go all the way this year.(i hope)

Re: JETS Fans

congratulations to the jets for advancing.

time to see what they are made of. again.

I keep saying the same thing week in, week out, and somehow they keep winning. I'm glad that the coaching staff has been able to adjust their defensive schemes to suit what the Jets cannot do(rush the QB). It's working...

Safety is still the weak link on defense
We need some cats with some intuition back there

Today it looked like the weakest of all, but that's primarily b/c Shaun Ellis played out of his mind! He seemed like he was back to form! I think the best play of the game defensively came when Bart Scott went down for an injury timeout. Brady was starting to get his rhythm and the Pats were moving the ball, yet soon after 4th down and the Branch drop :dance:

gotta give it to Rex Ryan. Two years going to AFC title game, not bad as your first two seasons as a head coach.

Ok..........i'm predicting it now.The Jets beat the steelers 24 to 20 and go off to win the Superbowl against the Packers 28-17.

J.E.T.S!Jets!JETS!JETS!

Another good season but we fall a little short again.Oh well,no reason to be down about it when you think about all the JETS have done. We'll be back again next season, for sure.Untill then.......

J.E.T.S....JETS!JETS!JETS!

Peace

It's alright, they blanked us in the the first half and we blanked them in the second half. It's all good, just not enough.....I'm real mad they they sonned us in the second half though, if we scored in the first half with a TD it would've been a different game.

YeAH,the first half was not JETS football. The roughing the kicker penalty and Sanchez fumble hurt us and Schottenheimer was mad slow getting the plays in in the second half. But like i said,we'll be back next year and congrats to the REAL steelers fans. You bandwagon cats that are overnight fans...........really nothing to say to you.

Peace

Pittsburgh made one less mistake than the Jets. The biggest play of this game was the safety. Give Ben credit for falling on that ball if that was the (younger) Sanchez, he probably picks it up and tries to make something happen and gives up a TD instead. But by falling on the ball, it forces the Jets to have to drive the field for an additional score. That additional time is the time we needed to come all the way back. The difference in this games was the maturity level of the QBs with more experience, Sanchez will get better with time

also, I said this before and I will say it again, WE MISS LEON WASHINGTON.
Never more apparent than it was yesterday

That slow starting thing came back to haunt them yet again. Don't think it's the coordinators fault though.
Next season we have GOT to come up with something to get the offense rolling a running game would be nice

Schottenheimer was slow getting those calls in during the fourth. With a little more urgency there could have been more time left.Maybe.The run game suffered because of Woody being out and our run defense struggled with Jenkins out.You never know what will happen during the off season but i hope those two come back and remain healthy.Like i said they just didn't play JETS football the first half,but........we will be back.

Peace

I don't want Jenkins back fam....time for us to move on. Yeah, he would've helped against the run IF he was around, but it's been 2 years and we got nothing from him yet. So he really hasn't stopped anything (except for in preseason). Get somebody with some endurance. It's not the D-Line that's culpable anyway, it's the LBs that came up short. Pace in particular was not very effective against the run and Bart Scott IMO is kind of overrated but like Leonard, Rex Ryan is more comfortable with him in there

and of course there's the lack of Safety support

This conversation been going on all season, not just your one game.
This ain't the main board, we try to bring something to the conversation
besides goofy faces

:hithead::idea::ssshhh:

:crying:

THE CONVERSATION IS OVER JUST LIKE THE JETS!

:hmm: ALL YEAR HUH!!!

There is no fucking reason any of the shit up in here should be on the top of any Steeler or Greenbay post PERIOD!!!

I'm a let ya'll get back to licking your wounds and do your group therapy thing:lol:

I guess all the JETS fans have abandoned ship??Too bad cause today they played GREAT and showed what they can do.Oh well.....J.E.T.S!!!!

The Jets Suck Balls. End thread. close only counts in horseshoes. the should keep they fuckin mouths shut (including the coach) and just play ball.:smh:

Licking wounds?? Take time to read dude. I have never been ANYTHING but a realist about our chances this season. And since you like bringing up old threads, maybe you'd know that this is actually Part 2 of a thread that goes back to last season. The conversation did not begin nor will it end with the Steelers game. I don't quibble about BS though, save that for the main board bullshit. Congrats to the Steelers and good luck to Tomlin. Who gets nothing but love from most Jets fans.

What's the likelihood that we get back to the AFC title game and possibly the Superbowl? I like the addition of Plax and Mason (specifically Mason b/c of his route running and VET leadership, something we desperately needed). However, what DE's can we say will have an impact on rushing the QB? Hopefully one of the Rookies develops into a beast or maybe a free agent pick finally delivers.

Having Plaxico will definitely help Sanchez reach a higher level. Only thing I am concerned of is who will become the possession receiver
But to tell the truth, I haven't even payed NFL football much attention during their offseason. So I can't call anything until I get a look
at them in action

Man, I can't believe we still got Leonard and Smith as our safties :(
You see how Mark Witten ran wild on them guys all game?

Yoooooo!!! We got Yeremiah Bell and LaRon Landry?? Secondary cooking with gas now!!
Jets playing possum for damn near the whole preseason though, what's that all about??
Anyway, I'm glad someone finally heard me...Bye Mr Leonard :gun05:

I saw flashes of Mark letting the ball go and I think that we're laying low, real LOW, but I don't know.

As far as the Secondary,:dance::dance::dance:

But as for Kyle Wilson :smh::smh::angry::angry::angry::smh::smh:

He's going to cost us a game or 2 if they keep him out there.
