JAY-Z tour grosses $9,731,218 in first EIGHT shows!

I know it's just the first 8 shows.
What' s fuzzy about it, though? Your credentials please. Or as they say on BGOL, "Where dem books at?"

Those on here know who I am and who I associate with. I know the business (although I left it several years ago to pursue some other interests).

But the formula is consistent and validated.

Just plug in the values as the rest of the tour numbers come out and you can get a very good approximation for what Jay is taking home.

Just as simple as a + b = c

Therefore, c > b and c > a.

:dunno:

Your math is fuzzy, cuz despite your "extensive experience in this field you left years ago," you DON'T know Jay's deal. Add to that the fact that he signed that major deal with live nation, it stands to reason that the guidelines you're using (which applied to standard tours years ago) don't necessarilly apply. So all you're left with is convuluted conjecture. The figures are gross, so of course he didn't pull in 100% of that.

Ultimately, tho, who the fuck cares? :dunno:

I may not know the intimate financial details of his deal w/Live Nation, but frankly that does necessarily matter.

There's nothing fuzzy about Corporates Taxes, GS&S, Logistical Cost, and Personal Taxes. They exist. They must be paid.

Even if Live Nation is picking up the Corporate and GS&A side, they're still taking that "cut" off the top of gross.

Not a very had concept to understand.

:dunno:

Show sold out here

And if he's making $500,000 or $2.5, the average rapper is seeing less than $20,000 per show

Does it even matter? He got paid 150mill to sign with live to do the tours. So anything else he gets on top of that doesn't matter much.

There you go with that nigga shit. The deal is worth $150 million, he wasn't paid that. There's a big difference.
