Any rapper who has sold more than a million in sales was bought primarily by CACs. Hip-Hop music became a minstrel show of sorts for 90's America. Everyone was a gangsta, or some other criminal caricature (pimp, hustler, killer, drug dealer, boss, gambino, mafia player). These are the images White America can accept and financially support of us, not the activist, scholar, teacher or philosopher.

The FBI in this country was created because Black America was becoming politically astute and defiant. The early stages of Hip-Hop had the same energy, so they bought it out (eliminate the threat). Look at the empirical evidence artists like Paris, BDP, Eric B & Rakim didn't see platinum within 6 years of their releases, but NWA & Master P saw double platinum within weeks...coincidence?

The amount of hip-hop music white people bought was astounding in the 90's it was the primary way for them to rebel against their parents. Who has expendable income to buy 8 million dollars worth of cassettes and CD's ? not Black America (I had a dubbed tape of most shit) As Moe Dee said they want to buy the anti-social kneegrow (aka the Pimp) they love that portrayal and they will buy black inferiority until a CAC can copy it.
