I will say this, I surprised they even let this cat on fox and gave him 2 segments to speak the truth. I wonder if any viewers googled the things he mentioned?
Specific to that point, he should have been asked what government resources went in to trash removal, and maintaining the appearance of the area.
Trash pic up were notorious for being irregular and often not happening at all there

The brotha Jay does great work and I am a huge fan. He speaks nothing but the truth. Lately fox has been bringing these brothas on to discredit them. I don't get they are doing it for our progress.
Jay words were truth, especially to us because we all live that every day but will come across as propaganda to the rest of the world.
You can clearly see DL's experience on display with knowing how to take a loaded question and flipping it into a powerful statement that is not only verbally articulate but paints such a vivid picture that even the most racist has to stop and look at themselves.
How did the Faux News cat win when he was regurgitating the same talking points they always hit on when theyre in any kind of debate such as this.
His goal was to make Jay come across as a bunch of propaganda.
His first question asked was about how Jay felt about the gunman retweeting his commements then asked if he believes America is a Hate group that does not like blacks.
Man that is a set up question because if you even slightly agree with that on a platform that large, everything you say from then on will be discredited.
DL Hugley got asked a similar question and his response was. "There is hate in America and there are good people. I don't know where the line is drawn but it is no secret that blacks are affected by certain things more than whites".

For a young brother he held his own extremely well, you are comparing A man who has many years experience in front of a camera and live audiences to a young brother whom I think may still be in college
