Jasmine Crockett & AOC Vs Marjorie Taylor Greene

Damn, she threw down on that boy.

She read TF out of him like a book. This why MAGA bros, Stephen Fetch It, etc., hate her.

She's got to put all of her energy in the cities only. There's a lot of non-voters in Texas and the primaries turnout is putrid as you know. Also we gotta hope that the GOP battle between Corny & Pax get drawn out. Finally I can't wait to see Hunt get his official You just a Nigga moment.

"Cities only" is not a winning strategy, especially considering that Suburban areas are more diverse have have a large population of consistent voters. Coryn is on the ropes, with gerrymandering being the Hail Mary play. Sample polling doesn't tell the whole story of likely voters.

What would be your preferred outcome re:

1) What Crockett does

2) The Senate Democratic primary?
Crockett needs to step back and really decide what she wants her future to be. If she wants to run for senate or to be serious power player going forward, she needs to take the next 2-4 years to change her image like AOC has done.

Or she should find another left leaning or purple House district in Texas and run there.

Talarico is really the only shot dems have of winning that senate seat this time. On top of that, Crockett on the ballot will motivate more Republicans that hate her to come out to vote, hurting Dems statewide.

I should correct myself. In my head I always combine suburbia with urban populations when it comes to voting. So you are correct with everything you said.

I agree on #2. I mostly agree on #1 but my answer begins with that if she runs for senate I don’t give a shit about her because it seems to indicate that she doesn’t really give a shit about public service and this move is grifty post-politics positioning.

I’m going to reevaluate all this now that it is shaping up to be a two person race… My presumption is that Talarico is an obviously superior general election candidate but I’m going to give Crockett a chance to make her case.

Jasmine Crockett is not running for Senate in Texas because she wants to be a senator from Texas.
She’s running because she wants the national attention that comes from a doomed statewide campaign.
And when she loses—as everyone knows she will—she’ll be rewarded for the money she burns and the race she blows with a lucrative landing spot at a progressive media outfit or activist group.
It would be wise for someone in Democratic leadership to speak out against the self-defeating, perverse incentive structure that leads the party to keep making these catastrophic political mistakes.
But no one will, because the party’s leadership is both incapable of course correction and terrified of being labeled racist or misogynist for telling the truth.

This reflects my initial thoughts/fear.

If shes the nominee, I'll hope like hell she wins. But you already see Greg Abbott firing up Republicans to vote against her. They're goign to make the election about her and not about prices, but I hope SHE doesn't make the election about her. That video posted does seem like she's making about her though.

Get some talented people to consult with her and make a serious attempt, if she's going to do it.

As someone that knows the ground in Texas, those low propensity voters are not progressives.

Wooden Allred would have got steamrolled again like what Cruz did to him. He doesn't excite any one. Talarico checks all of the Texas boxes. Both of them would put a good fight. Anyway 6 months is a loooooooong time.
Correction, the primary is March 3rd

BTW while the ballot will show 5 candidates on the Democratic side. The Republican primary has 15
