Jamiroquai Fans - Jay K Says 8th Album is just about done.

I'll have to really give him a listen. Judging from the response of the last few albums, he filled in fine. I remember listening to Zender riff on "Mr. Moon," "Space Cowboy" or "Emergency on Planet Earth." I used to always say "white boy's got pluck!"

Any standouts from Paul I should check for?

"Runaway" with Paul on bass:

Salute to BGOL for helping me find the answer to why they sounded different after The Traveling without moving Album... I knew there was something different going on but I couldn't put my finger on it... I figured it was something... Salute to my BGOL folks for the info.

Sure would luv to hear some new Stuart Zender bassline....Oh well. I'll still check out that new album. I hope the unreleased stuff pops up somewhere.

Just got the update on FB. They're in the studio putting the finishing touches on their 8th album.

If Zender isn't on the Bass...can't say that I'm excited. I'll give it a listen but those first three albums was the sound that I loved. After that it wasn't the same...glad to hear he's still doing it though.

Although Stu is a good friend of mine, I have to admit, Paul Turner is more than adequate. Paul's an amazing bassist.

:yes::yes::yes:

paul turner = motherfucker on bass. :yes::yes::yes:

i respect zender, and i like stu, but paul can hold his own.

Paul can definitely hold his own but he doesn't bring the song writing and crafting ability to the table that Zender did.

That was was the plus value Zender brought.

But Paul can keep it in the pocket and pluck those licks just as well.
