True dat...but brown people are honorary niggas so he can call us out if it's done with respect and I didn't sense any malice in the brotha's responses if anything he defended himself like a man. I guess the main thing is we don't mistake each other for enemies when we have a common one already and maybe we shouldn't lump all white people in the enemy category because some of them are down with us too.

I remember a few yers back I was over on this board appropriately/ ironically called BrownPride.com, LOL... and had a rather heated discussion on this issue. There were more than a few jackasses over there who had nothing but pure hate for Blacks. They declared that the issues in the jails were in fact indicative of what is going to happen in the streets. They proclaimed with pride how many of the Historically Black Areas in various places were turning demographically to be predominantly Mexican. Then went further to state that they would like to see us stomped out cmpletely, and how Blacks dare not venture off into some of their controlled areas in Los Angeles and other places in Southern California. You could have sworn it was a KKK message baord, with all the "ni99ers" this and "ni99ers" that tossed around, calling us "Mayate's" (Black bugs) and so on.
Up until then, I didn't know how bad this shit was. I was rather shocked and appalled. A few took the initiative to say that this was the noise made by a rather vocal and highly visible minority, and the unity between Blacks and Browns was imparative for both to continue to prosper in America. Others claimed that Blacks drew first blood, and you will find just as much "Mess-i-can" and "wet-back" talk on Black message boards and racial conversations (Seen any of that around here lately? LMAOOO!!!) That their folks are the ones senselessly attacked by us, and they are just taking on a defensive attitude...
My conclusion?
It is high time that "Ignorant" not "Other" is included on census forms and job apps for racial choices...

- We keep arguing and debating when some of our own point to the fact that we have a battle to fight -- and that battle has as much to do with getting our own houses in order than worrying about other mofos houses.

Ima try an put a different spin on this Dr. King said that "The belief that Man can do all without God's help is untenable as the belief then God will do all without Man, that is not Faith it is Supersitition" The point is Nature is behind the Latino drive to prominence in America not political parties or the Civil Rights movement, they really are taking what was their's nature is correcting itself. Sure there will be some racial strife because of the behavoral patterns whites established with slavery and White Supremacy but if we take a long term view to all this and realize America is just one blimp on a long timeline we see that civilization started with Blacks and it will end with us.
I never realized how much Mexicans hate blacks and vice versa until I experienced it first hand, when the Mexican girl I was seeing broke up with me she called me a ******, I was so fucking pissed I called her a wetback fucking ****, when I told my boys what happened they wanted to go down there and fuck her shit up, all they heard was she was Mexican and had essays hanging around and these brothers were down to ride, they really really hated Mexicans, I cooled that shit and let that shit die but it really showed me how much hate there is between us, and I dont even know why.

I don't know what city/state that you and other folx on here live but where I live it really irks me to see severel Mexican/Central American owned business(restaurants, Convenient Stores, small offices, etc.) but I could barelly find African American owned business(Restaurants, Convenient Stores, small offices, etc.) in my area; I would have to travel to the next county over or the main city to find a multiple African American owned business and even in those areas they have to compete with Mexicans/Central Americans and the Asians.
My hope for the future is to see more of our own people to progress and continue to support our own businesses.
