Co-sign. It’s definitely over for Kap. The only way he gets a roster spot is if the league get a black owner who signs Kap himself. No going through the teams GM or anyone else.

I think people still talk about him due to the narrative that it was about his skill (or lack there of). It was really put out there that has wasn’t good. Yet you see transactions like this. A guy who lost his backup job and is now 3rd string gets traded for.

Remember Baltimore put it out there that Kap didn’t fit what they did offensively. Then they turn around a year later and not only sign RG3 but draft Lamar Jackson as well.

It’s a continued conversation shooting down all of those false narratives.

It's basically that the NFL doesn't want a black quarterback talking about and using his stardom to raise awareness for black issues. Agreed. Definitely have to continue the debate and state the facts. Especially when people like Jon Gruden say he was benched for Blaine Gabbert. Totally false, yet it shows that they will continue to spread that negative narrative.

It wasn't just black issues Kap spoke about. He talked about the oppression of all people, veterans not receiving the benefits the deserve when they come home, the justice system being broken, etc. He also called Trump openly racist. Fast forward to today, look at all of the shit going on and people wanting reform in many areas. Speaking out against those things started with Kap.

Back to signing him to a team.... Doing so will be like admitting they were wrong all along and actually agree with him. That alone will never happen. Those old white guys will never admit they were wrong.
