This is why I'll continue the conversations, debates, and pull out facts. All of those bullshit talking points are continually being proven false. It's basically that the NFL doesn't want a black quarterback talking about and using his stardom to raise awareness for black issues. The only way he gets a roster spot is if the league get a black owner who signs Kap himself. No going through the teams GM or anyone else.
I think people still talk about him due to the narrative that it was about his skill (or lack there of). It was really put out there that has wasn’t good. Yet you see transactions like this. A guy who lost his backup job and is now 3rd string gets traded for.
Remember Baltimore put it out there that Kap didn’t fit what they did offensively. Then they turn around a year later and not only sign RG3 but draft Lamar Jackson as well.
It’s a continued conversation shooting down all of those false narratives.
