The '84 is a tier above basic whiskeys.... it's not your standard Jim Beam, Evan Williams, Jack Daniel's.....

I'd say the '84 is like a Knobb Creek, Jim Beam 7 years...etc

But the '56 is like your Single Barrel Jack/ Jim, Small batch Makers/Knobb Creek....etc

Like if I'm at an open bar, a friend's house, hell even a regular bar and choices were standard Jim or jack or UN, I'm picking UN.... now if we're talking Bulleit and UN..... that's a tough one, just cuz I've been drinking Bulleit a long time....... but a UN Old Fashioned or even neat
....... one of the smoothest damn drinks I've ever had
