Empty the contents of the salmon (after you drain it) with one egg, the breadcrumbs, a little minced onion and green pepper. Add some pepper, garlic salt, seafood seasoning and sea salt and mix it up with your hand. (unless you got acrylics on, ugh don't want your shit chippin in the food)

i have a blog on something similar to this

ill post a few recipies here :)

pineapple-upside-down-cake.jpg

Some people use pineapples as a symbol of welcome. I promise if you make this cake for someone they will definitely appericate your hospitality. It makes no sense how deliciously simple this cake is. I got this recipe from my mother and she made it to fix a quick sweet tooth. The carmel sauce that the brown sugar and butter creates is divine, and using the pineapple juice makes the cake lightly sweet and yummy. This cake is super simple and effortless, it will be easy to trick your boo into thinking you spent a couple hours when this cake only took a few minutes! *wink*

2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 lg can sliced pineapples
1 and 1/4 cup juice from canned pineapples
1 Box of yellow cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
marachino cherries

Preheat oven to 350degrees.

In a cast iron skillet or a large oven safe skillet heat the butter with the brown sugar until the sugar disolves. ***If you do not have a oven safe skillet you can use a 9x13 baking dish. Instead of heating up the sugar and butter over stove you can do so in the oven. Just sprinkle the sugar and butter in the pan and place in the preheated oven until the sugar and butter is melted***

Place the pineapple slices in the skillet or pan. (for a fancier cake put marachino cherries in the center of each pineapple)

Mix all the remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl. Blend well together but do not overmix. Pour the cake batter over the pineapple slices in the skillet. Bake for 30mins or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes. Place a plate on the skillet and flip over. Vola!

BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!!

Pineapple upside down cake is a mighty tasty shooter also! One of my all time personal bar favorite.

1 oz vanilla vodka
1/2 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz butterscotch shnaps
slash of grenadine

In a glass with ice combine all ingredients. Shake and serve in a shot glass. Cheers.

i blog about foods with aphrodisiacs/food that makes men wild heres another one :)

ShrimpScampi.jpg

This is a bowl full of shrimp and garlic love. Although garlic can be a little funky historically its been used as an aphrodisiac! Not to mention as an added bonus garlic is packed with antioxidants. You can control the intensity of the garlic by how fine you chop it. Large pieces of garlic ironically aren't as strong as finely minced garlic.

This is such a versatile dish. Definitely can be a sexy date night dish you can make to impress your boo. But it is so simple and the flavors are so light you can make it any day of the week. The simplicity of the ingredients is what makes this dish scrumptiously complicated.

Thanks to modern day convenience you can find peeled and deviened shrimp at most supermarkets. If they aren't fresh in the meat counter the frozen kind will do just fine (just make sure the shrimp is thawed completely by the time you are ready to cook them) I find peeling and deviening shrimp kind of yucky and time consuming so i'll gladly let someone else do that work for me.

The trick to this dish is cooking the shrimp to perfection. It only takes a few moments for them to reach juicy succulent perfection. I also found that boiling the fettuccine noodles in chicken broth makes them super flavorful.

2 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
Olive Oil
2 Tbs Butter
1/2 lemon juiced
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
3 tbs chopped garlic
½ cup chicken broth
2 tbs chopped fresh Italian parsley
Fettuccine Noodles boiled with 2 chicken bullion cubes

In a large pot bring water with bullion cubes to a boil. Add a dash of olive oil to the water to keep noodles from sticking. Boil noodles for about 10 minutes or until done. Strain and set aside.

Coat a large skillet with olive oil on medium high heat. Add garlic and onions and cook until onions are tender.

Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Add shrimp to skillet and cook until they start to become pink. Add chicken broth, butter, and parsley then simmer for 2-5 minutes. Add noodles and toss together to combine well and serve immediately

Wanna Remix?
Try chicken instead of shrimp for a twist. Just cube up some chicken tenders and brown them until done in place of the shrimp. magnifico!

Cinnabliss Rolls. Of all the things I make, people request this from me the MOST! I've made them for birthday presents, Christmas presents, you name it, people will use any excuse to get me to make my infamous CinnaBliss Rolls. 100% of the responses of people who have tried them has been, "these taste the expensive cinnamon rolls they sell at the mall!"

It does not surprise me people literally freak out over these cinnamon rolls. The sent of cinnamon has been internationally known as an aphrodisiac for years, particularly for men. Maybe because the sent of cinnamon is similar to the pheromones our body naturally creates. Or maybe men love the sent of cinnamon because it reminds them of something fresh and tasty out of the oven. Regardless of the reason your sweetie will go ga-ga over this recipe.

As much as people like to eat them it take alot of time and effort to create them. I usually make my dough from scratch which takes several hours. Its definitely worth the trouble but I found a short cut that is just as good. By using store bought dough from the refrigerated counter you can create these magnificent masterpieces with minimal effort. A little help from the store goes a long way and you will be able to take 100% of the credit. The key to my CinnaBliss Rolls is the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Once it melts with the butter it creates this sticky sweet sauce that is freaking amazing. You can make these as a special breakfast for your hubby, or for dessert. Trust me, these treats work anytime of the day and will not last long!

1 can refrigerated pre-rolled pizza dough
1 and 1/2 sticks butter
2 cups packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon

Icing:
8oz softened cream cheese
1/2 stick of butter
1 and 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350degrees.

Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside (feel free to taste the mixture and add more or less sugar or cinnamon to fit your personal taste)

Carefully roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. It should be the size of a rectangle. Smear the dough with butter generously. Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar over the butter. Do not be stingy with the sugar and cinnamon. Roll the dough up vertically to create a long roll. Slice the rolled dough into 2 inch slices.

Arrange in a 9inch cake pan. Do not overstuff the pan. Its ok for them to touch but don't cram them all in there. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until they are brown on top and done in the middle. Top with cream cheese icing and enjoy!

To make the icing:

Using a hand mixer, blend the cream cheese and butter together until well combined. slowly Add the powdered sugar in batches. Add the vanilla extract and salt then blend for another 5 minutes. Spread on warm rolls.

I love Salmon patties but don't ever make them... usually I either cook breakfast for just me or me +him and he doesn't do seafood, and I'd never it all alone.

Anywho...

Desire, link please??? those cinnabliss rolls look hella good... but i'm off sweets right now.. along with fried foods, lol...

BiGirl, you just made me realize I got some fish tofu in the freezer...and that I am long overdue for my couscous .

Don, I like what this is, (though hilarious). But in all honesty once you have had sashimi grade salmon fillets you can't go back to the canned stuff.

Back in the day all I did was put them on the stove, a little bit of lemon juice, whatever other seasoning I was feeling (or had) at the moment, and cooked until done.

You can even put it in the oven and put some barbecue sauce over it, cook it at about 350 until done. Comes out good.

I got this salmon croquette recipe downstairs I'll have to look for that makes the 'patties' but uses real salmon, not the canned stuff. And homemade tartar sauce- heaven in your mouth.

I got something else too for the chicken so I'll wait for that.
