Its been 13 years....can you spit this word for word yet?

Huumina - numimina - nah na na - not a fucking word.

But they have a good melody and the hook was clever and that's about all you need for a hit.

Makes me want to spark one. Honestly back when I was a kid that cop running made me want to be one. I guess I stuck with it. I got a Criminal Justice degree.

Since I'm a big Bone fan I can spit damn near all their songs word for word, even one's most people never heard of.

Difference

Bone Thugs = Talent, Skill, Ability. It takes real skill to do what they do.

T-Pain = Nice dreads. Don't take much skill to use AutoTune to keep you in key.

Bone is the real deal

T-Pain is a fraud.

Man I thought this was some Master P.

Get this shit out of here!

This don't sound like T-pain to you?

Read this again. READ IT!!! Don't be Midwest'n up in here Chi-Town. :smh:

Bone wasn't all that talented in the singing department. I loved them to death, but they were not singers. They were rappers who harmonized. Sounds like a dreaded person we all know. Sounds like a slim bald-headed person we know too.

But that is not the discussion up in this one, right?

We both love Bone I take it.

We'll put down the keyboards for this one...agreed?

No because you're trying to compare a group with talent. I know they weren't singers. I was saying talent skill and ability.

Bone fans are loyal for a reason.

T-Pain has none of either. No talent , no skill, no ability. Just a bunch of brain dead fans that don't know shit about music co-signing him. The difference is T-Pain is trying to pass themselves off as a singer, whereas Bone is a rap group that did harmonies like DRS.

You probably wouldn't know about DRS would you?

How can you be a Bone fan and like T-Pain? That don't even make sense. Bone fans are smart for the most part.

I'll rep the Midwest all I want. But if someone don't like Bone you won't hear me saying stupid shit like Stop hating on the midwest like the South fanboys do.

You don't have to like Common, Kanye West, Twista, Eminem, and such I do and that's all that matters. I'm not gonna say quit hating on the Midwest, that's stupid.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

You like DRS huh? I bought that album for like a dollar last year. Now you want to talk about some mindless shit. :smh:

Now I happen to like music from all regions. I never said you "hate" on the south...I said you have hate for the south.

I see you are used to arguing with slow ass "fan boys" as you call them. I am very educated and very much up to the task. I have a thorough collection of music from the 60's on up. I hear everything. Check out my samples thread if you want to hear some soul music and check my credentials.

You will not tell me who to like. You don't like T-Pain and you made a whole damn post to prove it. Why if you don't listen to him?

If you don't like him, why are you critiquing him? Why are you talking and voicing opinions to people who at least give the man the time of day? Isn't that kind of stupid? :smh:

I didn't make an Insane Clown Posse thread. I just don't like them fuckers. Ain't got shit to do with Detroit though. I'm not going to listen to them just to prove to people who do that they suck. I'll never prove it to them anyway. :smh:

I like Bone. Did you not see me asking for people to post that Bone in the thread.

My favorite album was Art and War. Somebody throw that one up by the way. I'll be back tomorrow. I'll see what I can find for the fam.

Freaky...To be continued.

I got that Gangsta Lean. That album was garbage though. I'll throw it up tomorrow for you.

As far as T-Pain go...all I said was the man was entertaining to me. He is mood music. I'm in the club I'm not listening to Common and Nas. I want some "mindless ass moving drink in hand grind on me a little harder girl" music. For that I go to T-Pain.

That's it. That man serve his purpose for me. He write that and I enjoy it at that time.

Now post some damn Bone! :hmm:

I feel you on the "mindless ass moving drink in hand grind on me a little harder girl" music. but I use some down south shit for that lol, that's what it's good for, and it's not the word play, it's just their beats that have the females goin' off...

but all I wanted from DRS was gangsta lean (the single) not the whole cd

I'm about to put that E. 1999 on zshare for you if it'll fit, I gotta check the file size real quick

Untitled_0002-new.gif

classic joint
funny part was that this album only had about 5 full songs on it
listen to the whole album in 30mins

East 1999 was their best, Resurrection a close 2nd
Their other joints you have to give em time and they will grow on you

"better bring your weapon then stepin' bring on that ammunition
trippin no simp not to mention never knew no competition
but I gotta get mine so scream out MO! and let me hear you holla
not about that mighty dollar roll with the Bone mo thugs will follow
chain gang remaining the same flaming my dank and drankin' brews..."

I knew this was what this was even before I opened the thread

CLEVELAND, REP!!!!!

MAN! If they would have kept their style instead of listening to the label and getting them to both make another song like The Crossroads (the WACK more popular one) and getting the all to raise their voices an octave or two, they would have been the shit.

But they fell into the hole of trying to recreate a hit using the same style and...well. Layzie's tone on the first two CDs, Bizzy's tone on the first two CDs, Wish went to wack singing like Ja Rule. Krayzie is the only one that almost stayed the same and even he changed his style a bit.

Down 71 (the Getaway) is my favorite (sorry, zshare doesn't work for some reason on my computer. It always goes to an error screen). Bizzy ripped this verse.
