Its A Sad Day to Be A Democrat!!!!!!!

I came to the conclusion late last night, that by the end of this democratic primary, we will have another republican president. I believe the rural areas are not ready to elect a black president, based on the 60+ older voters. I think we are about 20 years from getting rural white voters to elect a black candidate. Also, if Hillary Clinton, wins the nominee and doesn't choose Barack Obama for Vice President, I can almost guarantee she will loose 1/2 of the black vote and damn near all of the independent vote. Plus every Republican will vote on election day. Remember democrats cannot win without 100% of the black vote. Take PA in 2004 for example, Kerry barely won with 1.4%. The black population makes up 20% of the democratic vote in PA, so if 1/2 stay home because they believe Barack got robbed from being the first black presidential candidate, I can guarantee she will lose PA, Ohio, Florida, Virginia and Illinois. So therefore, I don't see how she can win. And based on the rural white vote, I don't think Barack can win, which makes it a sad day to be a democrat. P.S. IN THE NOTION THAT THEY ARE SAYING THAT 80% OF BLACKS ARE VOTING FOR BARACK, THIS IS NOT BASED ON RACISM. I VOTE FOR BARACK, NOT OUT OF HATRED FOR WHITES, BUT BECAUSE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY I HAVE A BLACK CANDIDATE THAT SHARES THE SAME BELIEFS AS ME AND I GET TO HAVE PRIDE IN VOTING FOR A BLACK PERSON. AT THE END OF THE DAY THE RESPONSIBILITY IS NOT ON WILL BLACKS VOTE FOR A WHITE CANDIDATE BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN DOING THAT, BUT WILL WHITE AMERICA STEP UP AND VOTE FOR A QUALIFIED BLACK PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. AND FOR HISPANICS, I HAVE ONE QUESTION, WE ARE ALL MINORITIES IN THIS COUNTRY, WE NEED EACH OTHER TO EVER GET A MINORITY ELECTED IN THIS COUNTRY. SO IF YOU THINK IF A HISPANIC HAS A SHOT OF WINNING A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, YOU WILL NEED THE BLACK VOTE AS MUCH AS WE NEED THE HISPANIC VOTE.

No don't loose hope bro, Obamma is still ahead in the delagate count. It's stillhis primary to loose, and still it is mathematically impossible for Clinton to win. Obamma has got to fight fire with fire. I don't mean to stoop down to her level but he's gotta go into detail and clear aand educate the stupid Americans that still believe that he's muslim, and the non-sense about the flag on his suit. If you caught the piece on 60 minutes there was room full of people from Ohio stating that they were on the fence about him because "he's muslim, won't swear on the holy bible, and won't say the pledge of alligence". I couldn't believe what I saw they had no shame about there ignorance. I bet there are alot more like those people in Pennslyvania and Obama has got to take the gloves off,, go for the jugular, and show these people he means business.

Man. You made a good point. It is a concern I have as well. A lot of Southern white people don't care for Hilary. I see bumper stickers that say anyone except HRC So they vote for Obama. Then when it comes time for elections the same white Dems who voted for Obama will switch to McCain in Nov. If some of you all don't see or feel it in the air then I am not sure what dream world you are living in. These Southern White men and woman don't want Hillary in office and they sure not going to want Obama either. I hear that shit at work all day. I am the only Black person on my team and I stay out of that convo. I just get up and leave or put my ipod on play fight the power or criminal minded.

Let me break it down for you. Race, like ethnicity in general, is a cultural category rather than a biological reality. That is, ethnic groups, including "races," derive from contrasts perceived and perpetuated in the USA, or particular societies, rather than from scientific classifications based on common genes. Race is culturally constructed in the United states by acquiring his or her racial identity at birth, as an ascribed status but race isn't based on biology or on simple ancestry. A "racially mixed" marriage involving one black and one whit parent will have 50% of the genes of the mother and father. Still, American culture overlooks the heredity and classifies this child as black. Case in point Barack Obama. This rule is arbitrary. From a genotype (Genetic composition), it would be just as logical to classify the child as white.
American rules for assigning racial status can be even more arbitrary. In some states, anyone known to have balck ancestor, no matter how remote is classified as a member of the black race. This rule of descent (it assigns social identity on the basis of ancestry), but of a sort that is rare outside the contemporary nited States. It is call hypodescent because it automatically places the children of a union or mating between members of different groups in the minority group. Hypodescent devides American society into groups that have unequal in their access to wealth, power, and prestige.

They keep saying "win or loss" wen the focus need to be on the percentage distribution of delegates based on the number of votes..they think they slick by saying win or loss..

He's still ahead by a large margin of delegates people !!
