Italian-Style Olive Oil Bread Dip

Servings: 6

Ingredients:
• ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tsp dried basil
• ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for drizzling)
• Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
• Crusty Italian bread, for dipping

Instructions:
1. In a shallow bowl or small plate, pour the olive oil.
2. Sprinkle garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper evenly over the oil.
3. If desired, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
4. Serve immediately with slices of fresh crusty Italian bread for dipping.

Pro Tip: Warm the bread slightly before serving—heat brings out the aroma of the olive oil and makes the herbs more fragrant.
